Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 95 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently complained that delivery drivers provided inaccurate information about attempted drop-offs, often leaving vulnerable packages exposed to heavy rain or hiding them in insecure outdoor spots. Reviewers also pointed out that online tracking updates were completely inaccurate, parcels regularly vanished in transit, and trying to reach support representatives was overwhelmingly frustrating. Buyers expressed deep anger regarding the lack of accountability, noting that ruined or missing items were never properly resolved or refunded by the company. Some people were satisfied with occasional successful deliveries arriving on the right day or receiving prompt weekend drop-offs.

Question ...Who thinks Evri is the same company as Evri, international.evri.com ?..

Answer .....
Google Search Answer...
The difference is not between "Evri" and "Evri", but rather between the general Evri service and the specific section of their website dedicated to international shipping. "Evri" (or Hermes as it was previously known) is the company that handles parcel delivery both within the UK and internationally,

international.evri.com is a dedicated section of their website that focuses on their international shipping options, services, and information.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Evri Inter - Evri - Hermes -
This is the overall "brand" of the company name for the parcel delivery service,
They offer a range of services, including both domestic within the UK,

international.evri.com: is the "specific" part of the Evri website that is focused on their "international" delivery services, It provides information on shipping to different countries, including pricing, delivery times, customs information, and more.
Essentially,
when you see international.evri.com, you are looking at a "subsection" of the Evri service that is specifically tailored to international shipping needs.

Got told that was wrong in a e mail from Herms - Evri today...
That is false... we are a company controlled by Parcel2go, Although we share the name with Evri we operate completely "separate" from one another,
Sorry for the inconvenience this causes.
Yours Jack Wrigley

This must be false advertising as anybody looking on the internet looking for "EVRI" would not clearly know the difference as it's not clearly stated, Or is it just me been thick...

So We Have....
Ervi© Evri 2023 (Evri Limited)
Company Number: 03900782.
Registered office: Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0WH...

International Ervi ?
Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0WH...
Company Number: 5029932.

Parcelnet Limited
Company number: 06851446
Capitol House 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH
Incorporated on March 2009

Parcels2Go
Company Number: 02591405
1A Parklands, Lostock,
Bolton, BL6 4SD

Based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, Parcel2Go is the UK’s largest and most "trusted" parcel delivery comparison platforms,
It's like a shell company, a company in a company, in a company, sounds like offshore banks accounts, tax paid in Monaco type of stuff..

Herms - Evri's roots can be traced back to 1974, Originally Grattan Mail Order / Grattan Warehouses Limited / Grattan Public Limited Company, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Uk,

Grattan's was founded by John Fattorini & Sons (who made Gold And Silver sporting medals including The Rugby League Challenge Cup, Yorkshire RL Cup, and the Prestigious Football League FA Cup)

Incorporated on 1912, Grattan & Freemans Develop in 1963, Grattans are still active to this day...Grattan was bought by Next plc for £300 Million in 1986, a deal which saw Next outbid future Grattan owners Otto Versand... Freemans Grattan Holdings Limited...Otto Group....Cannot find anything about 1974....oww wait..
Hermes UK expanded its services to become a major parcel delivery company in 2020, Advent International, purchased a 75% stake, with the remaining 25% owned by the "Otto Group" is this the 1974 connection...
"Evri" formerly known as Hermes UK rebranded in March 2022,
Hermes the courier company had a very poor reputation in the UK and went through a rebrand with a name change and new identity, It is now called "Evri"
I suspect the reason for the rebrand was an attempt to shake off this poor reputation marred by allegations,Still got a dodgy reputation, so that not worked as it ?

Previous company Names...
Hermes Parcelnet Limited, 24 Mar 2009 - 29 Apr 2009 (But says on Evri 1988)

Parcelnet Limited
Company number 06851446
Incorporated on 18 March 2009 -Till Now

Evri Limited, 1 Sep 2023 - 15 May 2024,
Gweco 123 Limited, 26 Jul 2023 - 11 Sep 2023,

Evri Limited,Incorporated on 22 December 1999,

Parcel2Go Previous Names,
F.A.M. Logistics Limited, 17 Dec 1999 - 30 May 2006,
F.A.M. Publishing Limited, 13 Mar 1991 - 17 Dec 1999, Incorporated on 13th March, 1991

The rebranding of Hermes to Evri was a separate event and did not involve Parcel2Go,
Parcel2Go acts as a broker, offering customers access to Evri's services, among others, Parcel2Go does "not own or operate Evri"
Think they are trying to right themselfs into history...and the timeline on Evri is "ALL" wrong..Parcelnet rebranded as Hermes Parcelnet Ltd.. There was no Parcelnet in 1988...And No Hermes Uk on Company House website..

and now with the merging of Evri & DHL.
God Help Us,

Here Endeth The Lesson...

Delivered to the wrong address.

I was expecting my Debehams delivery yesterday from Evri. It was delivered to the wrong address. That is not me in the photo and that is not my address and I have no idea where it was delivered. Been trying to contact Evri but no luck so far. Absolute joke. Very unhappy customer.

Run Away.

Ordered an item from a great company, didn't realise Hermes "deliver" for RSVLT once the item arrives in the U.K.

Tracking said item delivered. Got home from work. Predictable plot twist:

Not delivered to my building!

Communicated with RSVLT. Map location correct. Photo taken by driver. Don't recognise the lobby. What a shocker.

If you buy online, beware Hermes. The Worst.

Second plot twist.
Package in my lobby this morning. Driver must have gone back to the wrong place and collected it. Well done. But business shouldn't be like that. Get it right first time.

Advice for hermes:
Tell your drivers to Use The Postcode.

Always a problem

The only three times I’ve had a delivery late or not delivered at all has been with this carrier, I will never buy from a supplier again who uses Hermes even if it costs me more.

Terrible unreliable service as always…

Terrible unreliable service as always with Hermes. Ordered through Amazon, waited for days, then got a message from Hermes via Tracking Number, stating that my parcel had now been delivered.

No sign of the parcel, and I checked my date & time stamped CCTV cameras, and nobody had called or delivered.

Why oh why do companies use this terrible service.

So frustrating.

Incompetant Hermes, Mickey Mouse operation.

Ordered large item from Amazon to be delivered on Saturday, stayed home all day, they failed to deliver both Sat & Sun, attempted delivery mid-day Monday when I'm in work.
Called their automated phone line, redelivery attempt number four has now failed - Wednesday evening.
Seriously incompetent Mickey Mouse operation , we should be allowed to choose who delivers our on-line purchases - Hermes would be bankrupt in weeks.

Actively broke my letterbox & couldn't read the address

I ordered something envelope-sized to my flat. Shortly after Hermes arrived, I came down to collect it and my letter box had been busted open, as had the letterbox above. The only thing I can think of is Hermes posted it in the wrong box, snuck into the building, busted the other letterbox open and then busted mine open to put the package into mine from the inside. Maybe they thought 2 broken letter boxes would be less suspicious?

Another time, I ordered a parcel and Hermes came to deliver it. They came to the carpark and updated me saying it was delivered. They attached a photo of the parcel next to a bush. I went on an hour-long search round every bush but found no parcel. Next day, they "delivered" it again, but this time the photo was of the parcel inside the Hermes van. After a wild goose chase, on the third day I stayed home from work. Hermes turned up again, and I ran out to the carpark asking if they had my package. They looked and found it in their van. They said they couldn't find the flat number on the parcel address. It was written clear as day on the front of the parcel, where the address always goes. Even if they couldn't find my address, that doesn't excuse telling me it was delivered already, twice.

DO NOT USE HERMES

F.A.O BECKY Customer Support

I received a response on here for my previous review I had posted. I was advised to call the same number as before, advised to leave a message and the team would get back to me. I dialled number, put in parcel code then automated message said we will look into this. Then another beep, please rate this call between 1-5 so I pressed 1 as no option for zero. So again the advice was a dead end. Same old story. Although this time Becky signed her name in response to my earlier review. More time wasted.
Update - parcel out for delivery Saturday 17th to Parcel Shop. Didn’t arrive
Next update- Sunday 18th WE GOT IT
something dodgy going on.
