6 hr of sales presentation

I attended a sales presentation after being notified that I had won a raffle for a mini cruise excursion in Miami. The presentation was advertised as lasting approximately 90 minutes; however, it extended to nearly six hours and involved extremely aggressive and high-pressure sales tactics.

During the presentation, representatives provided misleading information regarding vacation pricing, significant discounts, and low-cost exchange weeks. They also promoted the membership as an investment opportunity, stating that it could be resold in the future and that rooms could be rented through platforms such as Airbnb.

In reality, there is no market to resell the membership, and neither I nor my family have been interested in using it. When I attempted to rent rooms, I found that prices were actually cheaper through Booking.com and similar travel sites, making the membership benefits misleading.

Under pressure, I initially agreed to a lifetime membership, which was later reduced to a 10-year term. However, there was no reasonable or transparent option provided to cancel once I realized the membership was not beneficial. I have now lost approximately $8,000 — money that I could have used for actual travel.

I have attempted to request a cancellation and a partial refund, but I have received no response. I believe this company engaged in deceptive and unfair business practices and failed to honor reasonable consumer protections.

A disappointing and misleading experience with Holidays Lounge

We had a completely disappointing experience with Holidays Lounge while we were tourists in the United States. They lured us with the promise of a travel membership full of benefits, but the reality was very different. During a nearly 4-hour presentation, we were bombarded with misleading information to get us to sign a contract that has nothing to do with what they verbally promised.

We believe this company takes advantage of tourists’ vulnerability to deceive them more easily, as we didn’t have the time or resources to investigate thoroughly at the moment. After signing, we received calls from different agents, each providing contradictory information, which only reinforces the lack of transparency and honesty in their service.

This situation not only ruined part of our trip but also made us waste valuable time trying to solve an issue that should never have happened. Upon further investigation, we discovered that many people have faced similar situations: false promises, hidden terms, and contracts designed to confuse.

We are demanding the immediate cancellation of the membership and a full refund of what we paid. We warn other travelers to be extremely cautious with these types of offers and to think twice before trusting this company.
