Totally unprofessional, rude and unpleasant experience

Our experience with Robson Cordeiro, Director of MyHomeUK, was unprofessional and unpleasant from start to finish.

To begin with, he demonstrated complete lack of respect for our time by showing up nearly twenty minutes late to our scheduled flat viewing - he had been having a leisurely conversation with someone across the road despite us waiting in full view. We had phoned and emailed to inform him of our arrival and no effort was made to be on time, or to acknowledge the lack of punctuality on a working day. Furthermore, he was rude and unfriendly, making a clear effort to rush us out by telling us our appointment was running over time - this would not have been an issue had he shown up at our allotted time.

After the viewing, he assured us that we would receive an offer form and have the opportunity to make an offer on the flat. This turned out to be a lie and we received no further communication despite following up. The next day, over a very rude phone call, we were informed that the flat had been given to someone else without us even having the chance to submit our own offer. This conversation ended with Robson abruptly hanging up on us mid-conversation. Had we known that we would not even have the chance to make an offer, we would not have wasted our time organising this viewing.

Our experience with Robson Cordeiro and MyHome UK can be summed up by a complete lack of professionalism, communication and basic manners. Looking at other reviews on Google, it’s clear that this behaviour is not an isolated incident. I would warn against engaging with this “business” unless this sort of unreliable, inconsistent and disrespectful behaviour is acceptable to you.
