They took for ever to even notify me of anything and for the 80 dollar ring I bout I wanted to get (that was never shipped) a 39 dollar refund... -edit- even with my refund they gave me the ring still and I think I like it. So I appreciate that because they didn't get it to me on time I got 39 back as like a "sorry" fee I guess. The ring isn't amazing but it's cool as hell. So I appreciate it and am happy to change this review

This company is one big cheat. Ordered Glo ring, had to wait 2 months for it. Pictures and videos on website are way different from this what you receive,ring looks like cheap plastic, my kids have better plastic glowing rings for way less money than this big cheat company offer. Secret Woods play game with you, how dumb and naive you can be for them. I suggest that you avoid this place at all cost

Place an order on 11 April 2019. Once the payment is done I got an automatic email "Our pieces take approximately 4-5 weeks to create". its been a month already, almost going to 5 weeks. I asked the seller on the website maybe like a week ago and no answer. and I asked them on the comment of their Instagram page which they always update their post. but turns out instead of being a good seller or customer support, they chose to block me instead without giving an answer. Didn't expect a company from Canada will be like this. Such a shame.

I ordered the Meteor Glo ring, I'm not sure what other weird problems people are having or if they just dont get how glow in the dark works, but mine is fantastic! It took a little long to ship around a month but I'm pretty dang happy with it. It does have a slight green hue to it in person when it glows which I guess is probably just how glow in the dark looks always, but when you take photos it looks STUNNING like out of this world, overall it glows pretty bright and is very nice. 8.7/10 would consider ordering one of these for other people.

Not gonna lie it took about a month and a half for my glo ring to get to me but I was told it could take a little while so it wasn't as if I didn't know. However! It was totally worth it. It glows a beautiful blue and fits the way it should. I couldn't be happier with it. Unique and beautifully made. Thanks so much and great work!

I got the Night pineapple glow ring, trash. Cheap plastic and doesn’t even glow. Waste of money and it took a month to get to my house. DO NOT buy these.

My brother bought a ring for his girlfriend, it was one of the aurora borealis edition. In pictures it looked amazing, really like you had the galaxy in your finger.
But then, the real ring arrived!!!! It’s awful!! It’s a real scam, it looks like the rings you give to the kids in birthday parties.
The quality is really poor, and the design also, it looks cheap, but it’s actually very expensive. Even if they give you that ring as a gift, it’s expensive.
We have been trying to return it and sent them several emails which were never answered and they don’t have a phone number to be contacted.
So, RUN before they steal your money!

I’ll give props to the marketing team for making the products seem that they’re good quality and worth the overpriced range. The problem is, it’s not. I recently purchased one of new collections of GLO rings for 50% discount as a gift to my boyfriend. The process company explained to me that I would have to wait 4-5 weeks to get the product, would get picture beforehand, and then enjoy the amazing glow in the dark ring. After I made my purchase, here are few of the red flags I noticed.

1.) The company had 50% discount almost everyday since it was launched. In fact, they had those discounts available way past the due date they claimed it to be (they had exclamations that it would end in an hour, but whole discount would last for a month). This is a scamming strategy shady companies use in order to usher clients into buying the products. In fact, it could potentially be illegal.

2.) I was nervous about the ring since I had no knowledge of what was happening to it. There were no updates of what stage the ring was going through, and I had to contact the company twice to receive an answer. I wrote to customer service around week 4, and I received an email saying I would have to wait “couple more weeks” to get it. I was furious because I just discovered the negative reviews about the company and how some people didn’t get their rings until four months later. Fortunately, my ring was shipped the next week, but it just shows that the company doesn’t keep track of your products or else the customer service would confirm it was in the last stage of making.

3.) They promised I would get a picture of the product so I can approve of it. I never received it. In fact, the website that shows my order details said I approved of it. I never did cause I never saw it.

4.) The ring was cheap. It looked like a toy plastic ring that 5 year boys play with. The kicker is that in pictures and on camera it looks stunning. But in real life, it has this awful green hue (the glow in the dark) that makes it look cheap. It doesn’t even glow in the dark, just reflects the light. Also, the design is uncomfortable.

This is my opinion and experience with Secret Wood products, if you had something different, good for you. Personally, I would not recommend Secret Wood at all.

I ordered a Glo Ring as a size 6, as that's what I usually am. Unfortunately it was a little too tight but they let me send it back at no extra cost, to get it resized. It's come back today and I love it, it fits perfectly, it has come back over a week earlier than expected AND with no extra custom charges too. Am really happy with everything, thank you Secret Wood.

Complete scam!!! This place is a joke!!! They lied to me repeatedly about availability and wont refund my money!!! Stay as far from them as possible!!!

I wish I could give them a negative star. I bought a ring from them and after a month they sent me an email and said that you should change it because we can't create this ring. I changed it and it's still 3 months that I didn't receive the ring and when I asked them for a refund they told me this:
Choosing a delivery service with no tracking information is done at the customers own risk. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been shipped internationally with Canada Post. Because there is no tracking information, we are unable to launch a lost package investigation or to look further into the whereabouts of your package.

We will not be able to provide a refund for your order or to resend a new order to you.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We would recommend keeping an eye on your mail box and local post office, international packages have taken upwards of 8 weeks to arrive in past.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I bought one of their new Glo rings that were advertised and paid a total of $51. I ordered a size 5 thinking it would fit my right finger since my left finger was a size 5. it came back and did not fit. I went to a jewelry store and got my finger sized and it came out to a 6. I ordered the size 6. They ended up asking me to send the other ring back which costed me $14 and they charged a 10USD fee to send the new ring out which in CAN was $14. Got the new size 6 ring and it still did not fit. Now I have so far paid $75 for this ring and i still can't wear it. I messaged them again and even went as far as to screenshot the resizing policy that they have on their website stating that they will do a resizing at no cost to us within 30 days of purchase. I emailed them again and they are now asking me to again pay then shipping fee and the fee to send it back. This will now put me out $100. This is terrible customer service and they are not honoring what is on the website. I get the first time was my mistake assuming my size but i went to a jeweler and got my finger sized and the ring I got was extremely tight. The people who did respond to my email were also terrible. The only option they gave me was to have to pay another $28 to get this ring resized again... I am extremely frustrated and even if this does not get resolved i do not think I will purchase from them again.

I have ordered a couple of times from Secret Wood over the last 12 months. They do some great sales (up to 50% off!) where you can get this beautiful jewellery at great prices.

Delivery times ARE long but that is stated clearly on the website and in your order confirmation. Its important to remember that this is handmade, bespoke jewellery, not just some tat off the shelf! My first order was a ring and turtle pendant, delivery was approx.. 6 weeks. Quality was outstanding and I wear them both regularly. I did manage to order the wrong size ring and Secret Wood were brilliant, they made me a completely new ring to the correct size with no quibble at all.

I have recently placed an order for 4 new turtle pendant shells which I am expecting to arrive next week. Those have taken about 6 weeks as well but I am happy to wait knowing the quality of them.

I find that the company are really good about responding to email queries, usually getting back within 24hrs, as well as sending photos of the finished items before posting which is really helpful.

I think its important, as with any hand-made items, to make sure to plan ahead if you are buying one as a gift and make sure to give plenty of time for them to be made and then shipped to you. But my experience has been nothing but positive so I would (and have!) recommend them to a friend with no hesitation.

I ordered one for my girlfriend they were very swift and had great communication, when the ring arrived the size we worked out was incorrect and I contacted secret wood and the got back to me promptly advising if I returned it they would make it again in the correct size which I did and the remade the ring and sent it back to me overall the kept me updated about my order and provided a fantastic product, thank you secret wood the service you provided was excellent and professional.

Unfortunately I must add to the trend here. I've ordered my pendant 15 Dec. It still did not arrive and there is no reply from the shop. Stay away from Secret Woods :/

I ordered an turtle pendant with a shell Decembre 7, 2018, to take advantage of a 40-50% off (the prices changes all the time on their website so, whatever that means). While waiting, I ordered a extra shell with another big promotion. I received this extra shell in normal delays.
2 months later, I write about my first order and they said "Thanks for following up and we apologize for the extended delay. Unfortunately, we have no new updates at this point. There is still a crafting delay with your order and we do not have a set day that it will be ready. If you would prefer not to wait we are able to offer an exchange for a two rings from our collection? " BUT THE PRODUCT I WANTED IS STILL ON THE WEBSITE. If you can't make it, don't sell it!!
I said I don't wear rings and asked for a refund,and I got it. So I just have an expensive shell I can't even wear and it's too late for returning it. I wanted more shells and more products, it's so stupid of them to lose me as a customer; I buy so much stuff all the time. Even if their stuff is heavily photoshopped (no the products are not as nice in person. It is, but far from what can be seen on the webpage) .Will spend more on Etsy in the future!

This company baffles me they charge for items that are never delivered with no followup or basic customer service.Ordered a necklace with expedited shipping (LOL!) in December last year and have had no emails since. I ask about my ordered product and receive no response until I pester them with multiple emails and get a canned response saying they have no idea when anything will be done. Yet when I finally get fed up waiting and ask for a refund months later I get an almost instant email back authorizing it. Must be nice to have so much business coming in you can treat your customers as expendable. Again very baffling how a company continues to run like this.

As others have said, poor service and extreme delays in product delivery. Ordered necklace mid-October. Now it is 4 months later and no necklace. My wife had picked it out and I thought I was be a good husband and ordering it in plenty of time for Christmas. Have people actually received anything in the last few months?

Update (5/2/2019):
Just received a notification of a refund through PayPal. No comments or advance email notification. Since the pendants are all showing Sold Out, I assume production has stopped for some reason. At least I can get my wife something different now, knowing she would never receive this item.

I give 0 stars!!!! Ive made my order on Dec. 14 2018. The website said if i made the order before midnight, i would receive it before new years. It is Feb 18, 2019 and i have still not received anything!!! They never reached out to me, and when i finally reached out to them i got an automated reply saying they are experiencing a crafting delay. I sent an angry e mail back and finally got a response that may or may not have been a human who sent the reply. They said they have no idea when it will be ready. So i guess ill wait a year if im lucky i might get my purchase which was one ring and turtle pendant, by next christmas...... do not buy here unless you dont mind waiting for a year for product. Terrible time management, basic common sense...... people have written on here that they were given a free ring for their patience..... i wasnt offered anything except to wait some more and deal with it if you want your purchase..... sooooo fustrating.

I ordered the Eternal Supernova ring back in December. I wait until February to finally get a reply from them stating they can't make this style anymore but they'd happily let me choose a different style at no additional cost. I decided to ask for a refund and I'm still waiting for them to respond a week later. I'm 95% sure it's just one guy making these, Roman Wood "CEO". It's ridiculous to hold a hundred dollars from someone without having regular communication. 2 emails in 2 months is not acceptable, especially when you don't even supply what you are advertising.
