MyTheresa is a good webshop with a wide range of products and brands, until something goes wrong …

I ordered two pairs of sunglasses around mid-May. My parcel was left at the front door of our house because no one was home (which isn’t allowed), and when I got home, I noticed the yellow MyTheresa-box was empty. There were marks of dirty hands on it and a red stain (blood?).

I was worried about this and called customer service immediately. They told me to document everything on email, which I did. Since they said the investigation could take some time, I placed the same order again, as I wanted the sunglasses asap.

After weeks of asking for updates, I was told that the package's weight upon leaving the MyTheresa-warehouse matched the weight recorded by UPS, and that UPS had assured them the package was intact upon delivery. Consequently, they are unable to approve a refund or send a replacement.

Since when does a courier's statement and a package's weight (which, I suspect, wasn't measured right before being dropped off on our front door) carry more weight than a customer who can prove that the parcel was dropped of at the street (and who purchaded in the past on MyTheresa as well)?

The MyTheresa webshop claims that you’re parcel is insured against theft … untill you receive an empty box. Then you end up paying over €600 for a stained MyTheresa box. Moreover, this violates European consumer protection laws. So unfortunately, I’ll be taking further legal steps, hopefully MyTheresa takes the matter seriously then.

Everything was great! The customer service from beginning to end was something that I have not experienced for a very long time. The package came beautifully wrapped, the customer service representatives were above and beyond helpful and took care of everything in a most professional manner.

Ordered some shoes, and have orderd many times from this shop so I thought they were a serious company.

This time they delivered to the completely wrong address in wrong zip code. The package was signed by an unknown person with an unknown signature in the Proof of Delivery they shared with me.

The shop refuses to return the money and want me to wait 4 weeks for the delivery company to do an "investigation". I had to file a report to Paypal.

I had a very positive experience with this store. My order arrived in excellent condition, with all products carefully packed and properly sealed. Everything looked clean, authentic, and exactly as described.
