Can't recommend Icarus (Robert & Veronica) enough. From the second Robert met us at the marina, when we stepped out of the taxi, we were put at ease and made to feel very welcome. Our first day and night was spent in the marina on the beautiful Icarus, getting unpacked, settled in and introduced. With the next morning we cast off and spent the next 7 days sailing around the beautiful Ionian Sea. Veronica is amazing, spending hours below deck whilst everyone else enjoys the sun and stunning views, preparing food and drink and keeping the boat ship shape. Robert (Captain) is in charge on deck navigating and keeping everyone who needs entertaining entertained. If you just want to sun bath when sailing that's just fine, and who wouldn't, but if you want to know everything there is to know about the area, and endless story's to be told, then Robert is the man. Robert and Veronica know the best places to visit at the end of a each day sailing and the most beautiful places to visit during the day. Caves, bays and beaches, swimming snorkelling and sun bathing, we did it all and never a dull moment. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and I will give you an honest answer. Have used Nautilus 6 times. Never had a problem. Would 100% recomend. Much easier than dealing with bases direct, and much better that the web based consolidators (of which I have had one dreadful experience in the past)

As a first family sailing holiday - perfect! Palairos is a great base to start and finish.

Lead crew Chloe and Pippa get the right balance between being there when needed and letting you get on with it. Plenty of advice, always available, but never in the way of your holiday.

Finishing up with a beach BBQ on Meganissi was the icing on the cake.

Just returned from a great trip around Corfu and Paxos. Nautilus used Kiriacoulis Yachting for this charter. Kiriacoulis have a good set up in Gouvia Marina and were easy to deal with at the start and end of our trip. They were very strict about Covid regulations, which was great, and the yacht was very clean and pretty much everything in the inventory was onboard.
The team at Nautilus have been easy to deal with too. We had some email correspondence a few weeks prior to departure regarding the uncertainty of a 2nd wave and further covid lockdowns and were reassured that whatever happened we would get to sail either as planned or at some time next year. This is the third time we've been with Nautilus and find them very straightforward, well informed and professional people to deal with.
Our trip was superb, great weather - even the electric thunderstorm was exciting! - great food, great people.

We had an amazing holiday in fantastic weather and beautiful scenery. The standard of our boat was exceptional. Very clean and comfortable with all eventualities thought of.

All of these went toward making a great holiday but what made it special and memorable was the Team. All of them.

Lisa running the show with the guys on the shore kept things smooth and hassle free.

Our lead crew were Chloe and Pippa. Their knowledge, humour and patience would be hard to find in people twice their age. It is no exaggeration to say they made this holiday for us. Nothing was too much trouble and no question was a silly question. Great fun too.

High quality yacht and very helpful agency. I cannot recommend highly enough. Second time we have used Nautilus and will do so again.

We have just returned from a fabulous week on a boat in Croatia. Jonathan and his team have been outstanding from start to finish. This was our first bare boat charter and the advice and choice of boats was excellent. Their communications are first class, and they have been nothing but helpful from start to finish. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality, well organised and friendly service for their sailing or motorboat holiday. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Good advice on options and where to go. Prompt response to all queries.
Their deposit indemnity is first rate - we had some minor damage to blocks and bimini on the boat, and to which Nautilus refunded us within a day.
I have been using Nautilus now for 2-4 times a year for past 10 years, and they are nothing less than superb. Highly recommended.

Awful service in the face of a pandemic completely disregarding higher authorities advice. Refused to even entertain the idea of a refund and kept repeating the phrase ‘the boat was available to you’. We had two boats booked for a flotilla in early July and if we had gone over to Turkey our whole group would’ve had to quarantine for 2 weeks before we managed to embark which was not feasible. 70% of our group were travelling over from Australia who do not allow international travel. We love to sail as a family but won’t be using Nautilus due to their lack of compassion during an extremely trying time worldwide. Such a shame.

Note: I’m sorry you feel you have been misrepresented but I cannot comprehend why. I did not cancel, there was an extensive email chain after the question was brought up about cancelling discussing other options. Our flights were cancelled for our trip over to Turkey by Jet2. Quarantine in Turkey was for 2 weeks. Those are facts. 3/10 of our crew are stuck in Australia still indefinitely due to the pandemic. I am so glad for those patrons who made their holiday and hope they had fun. Their circumstances obviously differed to ours above and I am not privy to those so will not further comment. At the end of the day, I had a lot of travel booked for work this year. All cancelled due to Covid-19 and ALL providers gave rebook, credit or full refund options depending on preference. Jet2 cancelled our flights and couldn’t get us to our holiday with you due to restrictions and fully refunded our ticket. I think you and your team are forgetting there are people and lives at the end of these deposits. People who have worked really hard for that money for you to take it during a heartbreaking worldwide circumstance no one could’ve predicted. You should be ashamed.

Unfortunately we were unable to reach the Croatian flotilla in July which was a great disappointment for the family.
The customer service which we received from Nautilus has been exceptional through out the pandemic period in us trying to reach our holiday. Gillian has been a valued support in keeping us informed and assured. We look forwards returning and sailing again with Nautilus next year.

We chartered a 42 ft Sun Odyssey in Gouvia. All arranged smoothly. Short response times and well taken care off. Thank you Hannah and Gilian for all good work.

We booked the holiday at the last minute, it was all very straightforward and seamless, thanks especially to Jonathan working out the arrangements, which included us arriving to find that the boat reserved for us was not available and that Jonathan had upgraded us to a 48 foot Jeanneau.

We received a warm welcome from lead crew Helen and Harley on arrival, who are so knowledgeable, both about sailing and the area itself, well-organised and impeccably professional, ready to help and keeping calm even when unexpected stressful situations occurred (e.g. we had a boat from another charter company crashing into us as we were refueling on the last day, and Harley jumped onto the harbour master’s boat to help fend them off), and always there to answer any questions. We couldn't have been in better hands.

As a result, being on a flotilla was a complete joy and a supremely relaxing experience, and even when the weather picked up and alternative arrangements for one of the days needed to be made, Helen and Harley had it all in hand. The other sailing families were great company so there was a lovely dynamic with the other boats and the kids had a ball hanging out together - it all couldn't have been easier.

As our previous experience has been sailing our own boat, returning at the end of the holiday without having to clean or launder the sheets was a novelty for us, and Nautilus have a very thorough team of cleaners, so the boat was impeccable when we picked it up, and we didn’t have to spend the last day of our holiday cleaning it ourselves for the next guests.

There is so much more we would like to explore on what is called the Southern route, and also the whole Northern route to discover, that I am sure we will be back sailing in beautiful Croatia. All I can add is that if the standard is set by Helen and Harley, we would go anywhere with Nautilus, quite frankly. Great team work and many thanks to you all.

We had an amazing week on the Corfu Flotilla. Extremely difficult build up to the holiday due to Covid-19. Several flights cancelled and our family flotilla was reduced from 3 yachts to 1!
Nautilus were so helpful and adaptable allowing me to pay the balance around one week before as was so uncertain that we could travel until last minute.
Corfu was just stunning. In particular Lakka, Parga and Sivota and the Blue Lagoon. Swimming in the turquoise waters was amazing and just what we all needed to de-stress after the last 5 months. We met some lovely people too - Staff and other families on our flotilla.
We have already rebooked the Ionian route for 2021 and fingers crossed all my family and the 3 yachts will be sailing together.

Just back from the Croatia southern flotilla holiday and had an excellent experience overall - of Nautilus, of the charter company used locally and particularly with the lead flotilla crew, Harley and Helen.
On the booking side with Nautilus, very smooth and clear, despite several detailed questions we had on the extras, indemnity etc. With our US friends not able to join us (COVID) Nautilus then enabled us to join the flotilla at the last minute instead, which turned out to really make the holiday. We were lucky to land with a great bunch of fellow flotilla sailors but more to the point, Helen and Harley, the flotilla lead, were superb - very knowledgeable, well organised, super helpful (we did run into a couple of sticky points due to weather) and also lots of fun. Would be delighted to sail with them again.
The local yacht charter company were also very good - yacht was impeccable, very well appointed. They were not exceptionally picky when we returned (have had a bad experience with this previously) and when we did need a repair (again due to very high wind / swell) they sent 4 guys 1.5 hours each way out to meet us and do the repair swiftly to be sure we could moor safely that next evening.

Went out on the Turkish Fethiye Flotilla on the 4th July as soon as the FCO travel advice allowed, we had an amazing time, everything was perfect, fantastic bays, great places to eat and perfect sailing winds.
The boat was well maintained and the lead crew Mike and Debbie were great company and looked after us throughout. I cannot thank Jon at Nautilus enough for the last minute arrangements and making it happen,
This was our second flotilla with Nautilus and we can’t wait to book with them again.

Fully agree with Alan I had booked a fortuna holiday with notice and pay deposit in November last year the balance was due in in April this year on inquiring I was told that the balance would not have to be paid until June when they would let me know and remind me contacted them in June and was told that the flotilla was not cancelled and the boat was available there for us however no balance was requested and was told that I could have only a credit note or a rebooking I am the same situation is Alan and will pursue them through the courts

This will be my third charter with Nautiia , Nikos Fatsis has always been very helpful and has been cheaper than the actual charter company, how they do this is impressive.
Amid this terrible covid 19 problem we have decided to take a 4 week charter for 2021, we either live in fear or live in faith, we have chosen faith.
Nikos Fatsis is a Gentelman. We wish the company all the best for the future.
