A complete waste of time and money.
A complete waste of time. I paid £40.00 to get someone to repair my porch at home. NeedHelp recommended two people, one came to give a quote, one didn’t turn up. The one that gave a quote never came back after I asked him to do the job.
I complained to NeedHelp who basically said that’s tough luck but you can’t have your £40.00 back.

We were very dissapointed with our experince using Needhelp. The tradesman we were booked in with completed the job & then became very forceful at our front door demanding more money - He wanted cash or bank transfer, for "materials and labour", even though the job explicitly stated what the job entailed and that consumables (isolation valves) were included in the cost - as per B&Q's terms.

Very bad service
Very disappointing service. There was no responsibility taken at all. Nobody even followed up to check if the expected work was completed. Despite nothing being done, they still charged for the service, which was only handled over the phone. When I asked for a reimbursement, they refused and simply said it’s their policy. We were told to find someone else, but due to bad weather conditions, that wasn’t possible. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience — poor communication, no accountability, and no customer care
