Straightforward and reliable. Post your job, find your tradesman, pay, get your pay code, give it to the tradesman once the job is finished. And the result? My walk-in closet looks picture-perfect :)... See more

Viktor replaced a tap and arrived promptly, worked really quickly and the result was excellent. He’d travelled a long way as I live in a rural area so am very grateful for such good service.

Excellent service from the trades man.
Only issue was with payment which somehow went into another currency and not paid to the trades man so had to pay otherwise. I was promptly refunded but not the amount i paid.

No recourse when paying direct to builder if job goes wrong

Milan is a very nice communicator, punctual, works clean and does a good job. 100% recommended and would work again.

The plumber arrived exactly when he said he would. Despite some problems with the compatibility of the new taps he was determined to make it work, and he was successful. And it didn't take long. I'm very pleased with the work done

I received 5 offers to take on the small plumbing job needed. The job was completed satisfactorily within days. I liked the option to pay Needhelp's fee upfront which gave me a guarantee for the work.

The guy was very receptive. He responded quickly, answered all of my questions and did a good job. His price was reasonable. I mostly liked this guy because he was prompt in his responses on the web site. Others left me hanging for a day or 2 before they answered. This guy showed up on time and was very transparent and a pretty decent dude.

The company were quick to allocate a tradeperson which was good.
However after the tradeperson change our tap, there was a leak. The company couldn't find anyone to investigate if it was caused by first tradeperson's interference. They asked me to find someone to investigate then they will refund the money if it was the trade person's fault.
If I knew someone who can come and do that, why would I go to the company first place? We ended up paying the company and fix it ourselves.
If you are lucky and have no issue, it's good but the company doesnt want to deal with any small problems.

We had a shower enclosure, tray, mixer and wall boards replaced and a new toilet installed. Our contractor, Tony, charged a reasonable rate and did a marvellous job and well within the agreed timeframe. I would definitely recommend him.

The website is reasonably easy to navigate, although I did have some trouble finding the Cancel Job button (probably my fault). Communication, both automated and in response to questions, was good. Unfortunately, nobody was able to complete my job, and some of the tradesmen were not responsive -- not the fault of needhelp.com. Considering this, I was sorry to lose the service fee, which was a good 20% of the bid, and it took a while to get my money back, but everything OK in the end

I didn't have to look for a plumber myself which is great because it can be very stressful. Also the plumber who did the work was very professional and did a good job. I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you.

Bought a new kitchen tap which we needed installing. Often, local plumbers will refuse such a small job, so we used Needhelp: we were kept updated on when the engineer would arrive (which he did), and he did the installation cleanly, quickly and efficiently.

Found a fantastic helper who was super quick and responsive, eleven out of ten, and the process was super easy

loading the job was easy and I shortly received an interested tradesperson. I paid £350 for the work to be done and received the release pin. From then on the tradesperson was slow to respond to a booking date for the work to be completed. Time went on so I decided to cancel the job. I was advised that unless I agreed to allow the job to be re advertised a fee of £60 would be deducted from my £350. As such, I reluctantly agreed. Time went on and still no interested tradespersons so I decided to close the job again. I was advised that as there had been a new interested tradesperson if I closed the job the £60 fee would once again be applicable. Having received no such new interested party I requested a copy of the email with the new interested tradesperson. This was not forthcoming as I was advised it was an automated email and they can't send copies! I've checked every possible way to have received the stated automatic email and ive not received it. I've cancelled the job, await my £290 refund and have raised a complaint. I have also advised B&Q.
