When i first started service with NetTalk 12 years ago they were pretty good. But now since they have done away with their live costumer service phone #. It's almost impossible to reach them. It's only online customer service now. And very slow at responding. Canceled my service after waiting for 2 hours for robotic responses that never solved my problem. I think they will go out of business soon since they've gotten away from their live person to talk to on phone.

Scammers. Paid for current year & next year as well. There is no service. But they wont refund the next year few.

I giving two stars for the service itself. But tech support, because of their kindness and promptness, I would rate as five stars. I've used this service on and off for several years and just recently found that I was not able to send faxes. netTalk used to boast that they were fax friendly and guaranteed that you'd be able to send faxes... and send faxes I did! I recently developed a need for a dedicated fax line and so naturally thought of netTalk. I restarted my acct and paid for a yrs service. The faxes were shaky at first, then just plain wouldn't go through at all. This has been going on for months. I've only been able to send 5 or 6 faxes over a 6 month period. Tech support suggested that it might be an equipment problem. It kinda made sense as I've had the same device for several years. I admit that when I installed the device the line seemed clearer, but I still couldn't send faxes. When I pointed this out, I was told that it was a fax machine compatibility issue and sent a link to a site to help me with setting the fax to send faxes over VOIP. I'd already been on that site prior to reaching out to them. So that was no help. Upon requesting a refund I was told that I could send the device back ( at my expense I assumed) for a refund, but no refund for service could be giving after 120 days. So I said never mind. Shipping is too expensive and I really didn't feel like babysitting tracking and then having to still argue about them having gotten it. So it's an expensive lesson, but I've learned it. I will be investing in an adapter to send faxes over google or a remote fax service. Google faxing is supposed to be obsolete, but I know of people who are using it w/ no problems. I took a gamble with netTalk, I might as well take a gamble with Google. At least the service itself is free.

They will abruptly disconnect your phone service. I am wondering any meaningful customer service exists in this company
