They Are Scammers

It's been about a year. I can't reach them. I published an article a year ago, and it was canceled an hour later. then I requested a refund. However, they haven't responded to my emails for a year. They stole $1,500 of my money.

Avoid this site

Avoid this site, they will just steal your money and avoid any contact back.
The best thing to do is to raise a visa dispute with this company. After reviewing other reviews, clearly, they do this all the time and think they can make up reasons not to publish your piece and steal your money.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - I signed up, created a press release, paid for it, then Newswire rejected it but kept my money.

Fake news

While browsing the site I discovered that they seem to fail in their due diligence to make any effort to verify the claims made by some of the organisations they allow to display "news" items. In particular an article about the WTC Group limited, which was so obviously FAKE NEWS it was almost laughable. The article contained false information from an organisation that does not exist, this gives an air of credibility to a dubious organisation.

Horrible Business Practices.

I went with Newswire for a press release and the experience has been horrible from beginning to end. Our publication was rejected for "not being suitable for publication" so we cleaned it up and removed all the elements that went against their very strict guidelines, and it still got rejected.

I reached out for multiple days calling, emailing, and contacting support via website to get a refund, and finally someone got back to me. HOWEVER, they said that they are unable to issue a refund. This makes zero sense to me as I paid for a service, they did not publish it, and now refuse to give me my money back. I expressed my situation and how ridiculous it is to not offer a refund, but they are double downing that no refund will be offered cause someone took 3 minutes to review my 300 word publication.

Extremely shady business practice and I would never recommend anyone use this service. Potentially a scam.

Beware of unethical business practices

I had a frustrating experience with this company, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Recently, I was hit with an unauthorized charge for thousands of dollars for a renewal I did not intend to make. Their support number leads to a dead line, and the support page is inactive, making it nearly impossible to get help.

What’s more concerning is the lack of timely responses to my inquiries. It feels like a shady practice to charge customers without prior consent, especially when they don't allow you to remove the credit card you have on file. This experience has left me feeling uneasy about their business practices, and I would not recommend them based on my experience.

I was pitched by Newswire sales manager…Buyers Beware of Bait and Switch or no written fine print!

I was pitched by Newswire sales manager after forking up $1200 for a single release that was to have premium entertainment journalists exposure. Nope. It went to farming community news and other non significant distribution I discovered. But not before I forked out another $24,000 for special distribution of my specific release needs only to discover after paying it was eliminated and something else written that didn’t relate to what I provided and verified they would do! False promises and bait and switch. After a single month of 4 unsatisfactory rewrites to no avail I knew it was a lost cause. after terminating and asking for refund they refuse to pay prorated payment of unused services. I have to fight now to get my money balance refunded! Users BEWARE

Worked with Leslie Willis to get our client's account setup, and she answered every question, discussed the best pricing options for the schedule and number of releases we are planning for the next 2 years, asked questions about my experience with them to learn more, told me about upcoming programs and generally made the whole interaction delightful. Easy to work with, great reach and seems to really get their customers needs.

They could of treated my company better..

I thought initially I was dealing with a respected reliable industry standard when it come to sending out press releases. I paid for my release every thing looked good I was promised Net 30 and off that promise I paid extra to add a photo thinking I had plenty of time to pay. I was wrong not only did they charge me a day after the release they also over charged me claiming I went over my 400 word count which I did not according to google docs. I contacted my onboard specialist and Jennifer reviewed my release and agreed I DID NOT go over my word count. I immediately contacted my bank and filed a dispute for the overcharge. They claimed PR Newswire refused to charge me back for my $175 over payment and told me to contact the company. I spoke to billing over the phone and they said they have no power to do anything that Jennifer my onboard specialist have the power to issue the refund. Now Jennifer is telling me she has no power to issue the refund only billing can do it. After posting my earlier negative one star review I was contacted two days ago saying my refund will be issued I finally got my refund today after waiting 2 months.

Easy to Use, with a little help

Customer Service was responsive. Some additional explanation on the site as you go through the process would be helpful, but Sammi was great and followed up with me during the process. Would use your service again.

Simple Platform and Great Results

The platform was easy to use and we were able to get a lot of great coverage. We were impressed with our first release with NewsWire.
The day before the release date, we had a last-minute change from our partner. I was very happy to see that NewsWire was able to review the change, approve it, and have my release ready to go within an hour of my submitting the change.

Terrible results but good customer service

My press release was automatically posted on a few hundred garbage 'news' websites that basically only exist to automatically post press releases. I doubt anybody is actually visiting these sites. It was also posted on a few bigger sites as promised (AP news, Yahoo News, etc) but you can basically only find the information via direct link - you can't actually find it in any of the normal news sections. Basically, the news was not picked up by any actual journalists and so realistically, no normal person is going to actually see the info. I found it to be a huge waste of time, and it drove no noticeable traffic to my website. Maybe useful if you are starting from nothing and have zero links pointing to your site, but absolutely not worth the money if you are established. I would have given 0 stars but I requested a refund and they did provide it without much hassle. So a few stars for the customer service.
