This was my second try at NGC
This was my second try at NGC, I have had coins graded by ANACS and lots by PCGS. I must say though that this time sending 33 coins into NGC was the worst experience I have ever had with a "professional" coin grading service. Yes, service was exceedingly, slow but I was emotionally prepared for that. Communications and foul ups were bad and I was not happy about that, but it was the grading that really disappointed me!!! Many items under graded, more coins they called "scratched" than I have ever had before. I even had a coin previously graded xf-au (business strike) that they graded PF61! numerous Beautiful BU coins that came back MS61! I paid extra for variety nomenclature and even told them the varieties but they did not put them on the label. These people are suppose to be the experts! I understand business' are still trying to recover from the difficulties of Covid, but this is pathetic! It was like beginners graded my coins. I spent $1000 on grading insurance S/H and lost more than that by far on the poor and, in my experienced opinion, inaccurate grades. I wrote them a detailed letter of the problems, but they just doubled down and stuck to what they already did. They are too busy to worry about water under the bridge. The saying goes; "never say never" but I am saying it now. This is the last time I will ever send anything to NGC.

After 87 day's which was expected my coin's were graded. Too much to my surprise they entered wrong expiration date on my credit card that was on file for membership. You cannot get through to the accounting department after spending countless hours on phone finally got resolved. Never again switching Too pgs
Stay away from NGC
Stay away from NGC! They only want to grade coins from dealers. It takes 2-4 months to get coins graded, they charge whatever they want and they can’t follow their own instructions on their invoices. They continue to increase prices without warning. And between them, the mint and the dealers, they have killed the hobby. Thanks NGC!
NGC is currently months behind just to open a submission package
NGC is currently months behind on accepting packages. I would recommend PCGS for quicker turn around. Check the submission tracking link online, just below where you can enter your tracking number to see if it’s arrived. This will show you a date for which they are currently opening packages from. I only wished I would have found this before I sent my last package. I would gladly pay much more for a quicker quicker turn around service. While NGC received my package Dec 2021 I am now not expecting to get my coins back until May or June of 2022 and will not be surprised to see it takes longer. I for one will avoid NGC for the next year or two as if this service was Covid-19
Worst services ever
My experience with the NGC Germany offices is a terrible one and if I could give minus 1 star I would give it without hesitation.
I am writing this review as maybe it will help other people not to get tricked by these unserious guys ...
I paid the 2 bills for grading 2 sets of coins on the 21.10.2021 and after 2 months and a half I don't have the coins, no tracking number, I do not have the money back (130€) for the membership nor an answer from them.
In total I paid : 130€ for the premium membership, 96€ for 3 coins, 315€ for the 6 other coins and 22€ for shipping them to Germany.
- first minus point : They state that if you buy the Premium Membership (149$ or 130€) you will get that amount as credit back meaning that if you send something for grading at their offices you can use that 130€ credit. This credit should be deducted from the total amount when you calculate everything using their forms. I never got that money back neither as credit neither in my account even though I was promised that once they have the invoices (I got them since more than 2 weeks) they are going to return this money.
- second minus point: The coins were sent on the 21.10.2021 and still did not get them back today 04.01.2022.
- third minus point: The billed me with 61.32€ for the transportation, but I never got the coins neither a tracking number.
- 4th minus point : my initial estimations of the coins were wrong and I put really high prices for some fake coins because I thought they were genuine. Instead of paying the standard grading service for 27€ for each of them (as their value is not more than 300€) I ended up paying 42€ for each (instead of 50€ as I initially put on my estimation). I was expecting a stronger correction from their side.
- 5th minus point: I send for grading a coin that I believed is from Silver (it doesn't exists anywhere made from Silver) instead of Copper-Nickel and got the coin graded without saying the actual composition of the coin (I can see the results on their website).
I attached the bills I paid, the communication with them and some other screenshots to prove my points (on Google reviews you will find the photos as here I cannot post them).

Steps which is very difficult to find they gave me a very low rating i think they hire very unprofessional graders they don't send you and explanation of why you received this grade they charge you a lot of money but your grades are very low will have my membership fee return .if they would explain why you received this grade you would have a better idea but they don't lost me as a customer
Stole my platinum 1oz Australian Koala…
Stole my platinum 1oz Australian Koala coin. When I contacted them they said they had no record of it and blatantly ignored my inquiry and accused me of sending to incorrect address or using the wrong procedure.
