I undertook a pre-vetting interview by Christine Burke, who asked about my own background and then detailed the job I would be going for if selected. She gave me precise information regarding the role and developmental opportunities would be available when the 6 month program had finished.
Christine also described the interview and assessment day in detail and what to expect, which helped when I arrived and mad me at ease.
I subsequently passed the assessment and interview and was offered a place on the course.

It started from the month of January, I have been trying to get an opportunity but was some how not getting through. In the month of March I applied for a role in the non clinical - through Indeed and called the team to inform that I have applied for one. I get to speak to Gbemi Dare-Solarin, who from the day one assisted me, unfortunately I could get that opportunity, I expressed by disspointment of having not been shortlisted for a NHSP role for a long time. Them Gbemi gave me the assurance that I would find one with her support, she guided me in what documents to collect and keep ready. She showed me an opportunity, liased with the hiring manager, and here I am with a wonderful opportunity. I am pleased to have received the assistance of Gbemi without her support and help I may not have crossed the line. She was ever polite, guiding, empathetic, professional, abiding on process and 100 % on her job. Truly she is a great asset to NHSP.

I was supported to find an NHSP role by Gbemisola Williams (Abi). She was always prompt, friendly and helpful when replying to emails and consistently followed up on my behalf when needed and gave updates to myself and the relevant manager regarding my DBS checks.

One two occasions when I was waiting in a Teams call about a prospective role, she was on hand to join the call to help ensure that the meeting went ahead in case of any difficulty.
