Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 749 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently express great admiration for the attractive apparel designs, the wide range of available selections, and the generally pleasant quality of the garments. Furthermore, many people find the customer care staff to be remarkably responsive and supportive when actively resolving unexpected delivery issues or order problems. However, some customers also noted significant ongoing issues with highly inconsistent sizing and poor fitting that frequently force them to make multiple returns. Others experienced frustrating communication gaps, severe processing delays, and unexpected financial charges related directly to the return handling process.

I like that there is a wide range in petite sizes and natural fibres. I also support charging for returns (although it would help if fit and sizing were more consistent). My issues are with the freque... See more

TERRIBLE customer service

TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve been emailing them for days. My order was returned to sender without even being attempted delivery because of a problem with the shipping label they used. I keep emailing them about it and keep getting the same mostly automated response. They ask if I want a replacement, I say yes and then they don’t answer anymore, while they’re still holding the £160 I paid for the dress. It’s the first time I buy something from them and it will surely be the last.

Poor customer service and an overdue refund

I’ve contacted Nobody’s Child four times about a refund for a return that has now been outstanding for more than eight working days.

When they finally replied, they referred to a different, more recent order and refunded that one instead. They did not properly check the order number I had contacted them about, so I am still waiting for both a response and the refund for my older return.

The lack of attention to detail and repeated silence have made this unnecessarily frustrating. The customer service has been absolutely appalling.

Diabolical Returns Process

Unless you’re 100% sure on what you’re buying, absolutely avoid this company. You have to pay a £4 “return handling fee” that isn’t declared at point of purchase, and there’s potential that they may give you less than the value of the item if they deem it to not be in good condition when it’s returned (this didn’t happen to me, but something to keep in mind). It takes 5 days for the item to get back to them, a further 7 days for them to “assess” the item and then ANOTHER 10 days for them to transfer the money back to your bank account once they’ve deemed it worthy, all the while they’re earning interest on your money by keeping it for so long!! I bought a top I fully intended on keeping, but when it arrived it was at least two sizes bigger than the label so I had to return it. I may buy from this brand again via a third party (i.e. M&S), but I will NEVER buy direct from them again.

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service they should be reported to trading standards for selling faulty goods and then not replying to emails. Bought a dress with a faulty zipper and when emailed twice about this I’ve just been ignored. I will be reporting this to my bank. Don’t bother buying from this company.

no refund

I purchased two separate orders, they have not refunded me the costs for the 2nd order, customer support keeps saying they have refunded it but i have still not received the refund for the second order over £210!. I have sent proof of purchase but still no refund. I posted the items together but in two separate packages as they were two separate orders. PLEASE DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM NOBODYS child, they do not refund items sent and have extremely bad customer service. i will be taking this further and reporting them to trading standards if they do not refund me. I urge anyone who has had similar issues with nobodys child to start reporting them to trading standards as this brand is a scam and is not refunding customers

Misrepresentation of item

Ordered a top advertised as white, it was actually cream and if I'd known that i wouldnt have ordered it. I complained because I had to pay delivery to get it and postage to return it, no response from customer services for over a week, then a message giving a deadline by which I would receive a reply, that date came and went, I messaged again in stronger terms. Nobodys Child are not contactable by phone. All I was looking for was a refund which included my delivery and return postage costs, but the return has now been processed and these costs are not included. I shall be referring this to trading standards as misrepresentation of goods for sale

Lovely clothes and professional customer service

Lovely clothes and very professional customer service! I encountered an issue with returning some items and Zachary, Customer Care Manager, responded very promptly, providing excellent support, and helped to process the refund quickly.

One day over refund window

I made an error by one day on the return window of two reasonably expensive dresses. I contacted NB immediately asking if they would be kind enough to extend the window by one day. I didn't get a reply for 8 days. After some chasing they were kind enough to let me return for a credit note. I know that I was at fault but for the sake of one day and an immediate email I thought that a refund could have been given. It's not like I'd kept the clothes for weeks. But I was happy in the end with a credit note or I'd have been stuck with two dresses.

Great clothing and customer support

I have been purchasing a number of things from Nobody's child over the last couple of months and the process has been great. I had one thing to return and they could not have been more helpful when it went astray. Love the clothes and the people that work there!

Poor customer service

ordered dress, arrived but too small on the bust, can't go for bigger size as already loose on the waist so had to return. They charge £5 for delivery and then £4 to "process" the return so £9 to try on a dress! Won't be using them again

Defect product and refund refused

Ordered a pair of suede ballet flats and wore them for work. By the end of the day the soles had deteriorated and the top layer scuffed away, revealing a sticky under-layer. I contacted customer services with photos of the fault and they responded saying that this is consistent of general wear and tear, refusing to refund me for the shoes. These shoes look like I've been wearing them for 6 months, not 1 day! I am extremely unhappy and forced to raise a dispute with PayPal. I will think twice before shopping here again.

Extremely poor refund approach so be careful. Returned products over 10 days ago and have just received an acknowledgment saying it will take a further 10 days for the funds to appear on my account. The funds did appear in my account yesterday and then disappeared again. I am very worried that I will not get a refund but have the email acknowledgment but feels like they are holding on to refunding money for as long as possible.

Clothes were nice but just not for me

Good returns process

I made a return but the parcel was returned to me (a mistake by Royal Mail, not NC). I logged a complaint on Sunday night and got a response the same evening from the care team, who extended the returns period and made sure I could resubmit the parcel. Very impressed

WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING AGAIN.I…

I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING AGAIN. AVOID if you are likely to be returning items, it is not worth the time or hassle. I ordered 2 sizes of the same dress- Cobolt Blue Pamela Maxi Dress. I went to return the size 8 at my local post office only for the QR code to disappear off my phone as I handed it to the staff to scan. The QR code just pops up when you complete the returns process- it is not sent to your email address. Unfortunately I'm not very good technically so I didn't take a photo or do a screenshot of the QR code. The system will not create a new QR code given it is saying the item has already been returned. It is now 5 - or possibly even more emails later and I still dont have a new QR Code to return the item. Unfortunately when I placed the order I hadn't realised that it had saved another family members email address as the order email address. I realised after the order had been processed and I did try to change it but it wouldn't let me do this. I then tried to cancel the order so I could reorder the items with my email address. I thought I would cancel it within the company's 15 minute cancellation window but unfortunately this didn't work. Subsequently via email, both my sister and I have provided the order reference number, both our email addresses and we are just going round in circles. They are saying they don't know the items details that are to be returned, or recognise the email address which is bizarre. We have given you the order reference number, my sister's email address, my name, my name as it appears on my payment card that paid for the order, my home address where my payment card is registered and where the items were delivered to. As for not recognising which items are to be returned- I only ordered 1 item in 2 different sizes and we have both told you it is the size 8 that is to be returned and provided the order reference number. How can you not know the items details??? Totally fed up with them giving me the runaround. You cannot talk to an actual 'human being' who would probably have resolved it straightaway. I will never ever order from this company again.

The customer service is terrible

The customer service is terrible. I ordered a dress and the money was taken straight away. Royal Mail contacted me 4 says later to say my order was being returned to Nobody's Child for some reason! Have emailed many times and get a generic response. No help and have to keep repeating the problem! Very disappointing that they treat their customers like that!
