We have had Nordan windows for over 10 years on our home, and we chose the newer version on a different renovation project.
We recommend Nordan windows and doors, as we find them durable, a wonderful enrichment to our property, thermally and in overall functional and aesthetic value.

There are 2 sills that were delivered that were the incorrect size and the opening mechanism for the windows is fitted too tightly and so it scraps against the unit when opened. This will take off paint. To get someone out to verify this would cost £350 and because we do not have time to take out the windows, we have just had to leave it. Customer service and delivery prior to this was good.

Great communication, knowledge and service. Plus a fantastic product. What more would you want?
I have used this company 3 times for windows and doors over the years.

The sliding patio doors have a design fault in that the handles have an intermediate position at 9 o'clock, between locked and unlocked. This means that the handles hit and damage the frame if not fully opened. Furthermore, Nordan tell me this can damage the locks. This could easily be avoided if the door stop was moved a couple of inches away from the frame.

If you want to paint the interior frames, one of the sliding doors has to be removed.

Despite using a Nordan approved installer, a year later, we are still trying to resolve all the issues after a very sloppy installation. That said, Nordan and the installers have been helpful, albeit slow.

Update: The installers turned up to replace the locks but Nordan sent the wrong ones

I'll update this review further when/if all the issues are resolved

Note to Nordan: I'm already dealing with the English office. Won't involving Scotland complicate it?

We have specified Nordan for over twenty years in one capacity or another and always found the product to be first class. The service from the team has been excellent and their windows are really well built, work well and look great.

I have amended this review, while the windows are good. The sliding doors are causing no end of problems and the customer service is at best hit and miss.

Great product. Adam was super helpfull all the way through the order process.

Being an extremely busy architectural practice here on the Isle of Man designing and delivering some of the islands more prestigious one off designed dwellings, we have been dealing with Nordan for over 10 years now. On each project, from first contact through to final completion we have found Nordans technical input excellent with delivery of the final product being of high quality. On any project we seek to deal with companies who offer good design advice with good product delivery that results in happy clients at the completion of the project and with the Nordan team, this has been achieved on each completed project. Knowing the product and the team, we have been quick to use Nordans windows and doors on our own office redevelopment. Great product with a great service.

I started using Nordan in lockdown when I couldn't get aluminum and what a revelation ,half the price and twice the product.
Great insulation value on the frames and a well built product with good service backup.
Great company to deal with ,all my jobs now have Nordan windows .

I replaced all the windows and doors in my house with Nordan triple glazed windows and door - aluclad on the outside and wood inside. The windows are extremely well made and work well to keep out the wind and keep the house warm in a very exposed location. The service was excellent. I had over 20 windows all of different sizes so it was complex to quote and get right. I used a nordan recommended installer who was very professional and good value. A few snagging issues were dealt with promptly and effectively. Overall i would highly recommend Nordan for good quality windows at a reasonable price

Adam's customer service has been excellent from the very start of our journey with Nordan. From our first meeting at the Devon County Show, to our meeting in the showroom through to the installation of our windows. Even the discrepancy with the colour of the cladding on the windows was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Adam with no fuss. The quality of the windows and patio doors is amazing and I would highly recommend Nordan products.

The NorrDan product is simply excellent. We did a lot of market research and found NorDan windows and doors a leading product. The company’s service both during and after supplying our windows was outstanding.

Absolutely love the Nordan product
We live in a marina that was fitted with Nordan in the 90,s but needed replacement due to age but I must say they are really good for soundproofing as we live on a very windy corner
This is our 2nd experience dealing with them as we have now purchased next door and are currently knocking 2 houses together

Nothing but praise for the team @ nordan 👍 used them at the company I work for so bought them for my own new build …. Nothing was too much trouble and a really great product

The service from this company is one of the best i have had nothing was to much trouble when takeing delivery
of our windows the sills were damaged we sent photos
and these were manufactured with in two weeks witch did not hold the job up the quality of the products are second to none i would use this company again with no hesitation

If you see a new build has Nordan windows or doors, walk away.

I’ll be advising anyone who I see looking at other new builds on our estate to avoid.

Although this did happen in Ireland, the same product is being sold in the uk-
Gen 3 slider & utility door

My wife an i bought entire windows, doors and sliders for our new build in west of ireland.what we got delivered in terms of sliders was not what we choose in the showroom, the showroom in Galway has what we now know is a "generation 2" slider door, we were told we would be getting the latest "generation 3" and the only difference was the door handle locks in the top direction but this generation 3 door locking mechanism is so poor, its flimsy and gives no confidence of a secure locked door atall..we have 3 of these doors and we are very annoyed with the sales man Michael McDonagh there.nordan sent out service people but they cant change it now but acknowledged the gen 3 were not as good as the gen 2.make sure you ask to see a gen 3 before purchasing and test it in the locked position..if you are happy with the security of it then so be it. we have to live with it now. Rationals version is far superior. Also, nordans utility door handles are upside down compared to the front door handles...if you like that sort of mismatch thing.- i hope this helps others make a better decision than we did. we will change these items in the future but we have to continue with the build as is.

I moved into a new build development with NorDan windows fitted. The large balcony window has multiple manufacturing defects. Myself and other residents have now been waiting almost a year and still have no replacements. Bellway is blaming NorDan for ongoing delays. There seems to be no post sales support.
