Honest, trustworthy company offering a great service

I am a trustee of our local Village Hall on Box Hill. We have two blown air central heating boilers. Had some issues with the older unit over the cold weather. Dave and his team responded with a first class service sorting out the problems and getting us up and running. Great comms, friendly and honest company to deal with.

Left High & Dry - more like cold & damp. Thanks Nordec.

What went wrong? The heating & water worked most of the time, then Nordec came for about the 4th or 5th time in a couple of weeks and now the heating and hot water don't work at all! Oh, yes. It is a 12 month old boiler fitted by Nordec that we paid them thousands to install....
Don't get bullied into having an appointment on a Saturday as if anything goes wrong you'll be left high & dry (cold & damp is more appropriate) until you chase them up yourself the next week.
OK - things go wrong, perhaps partly its a manufacturer fault but there is no excuse for poor and misleading communication. I have never felt the need to use trust pilot before, but if you or a relative are venerable DON'T rely on this company.

We attended multiple times within a short period to try to assist and offered the earliest available appointments, one which happened to be a Saturday. The alternative would have been a longer wait into the following week.

We understand how frustrating heating problems can be and did everything we reasonably could to support you with a problematic system. We always aim to provide prompt and professional service, but unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for manufacturer faults.

New Heating and Hot Water System

Simon, Chris and Harley from Nordec installed a new heating and hot water system involving a new boiler in the loft, a heat exchanger in the old boiler room in the kitchen and new pipework.

The work was done very professionally, the installation looks good and the hot air heating system is much better than previously, and we now have continuous hot water, whereas previously there was not enough for a decent bath.

Hitherto, Nordec has serviced my old boiler annually with associated support contract. This also was always done professionally with support being readily at hand.

Very pleased and happy to highly recommend Nordec.

Excellent service

Hi. Just a few words to say THANKYOU to your good selves. My wife is poorly and with no hot water today and after a phone call first thing in the day a response was what I can only describe as OUSTANDING!
This is not the first time we have used NORDEC but the service has been excellent each and every time.
THANKYOU so much to you and we recommend NORDEC to each and every one.
A special thanks to IAN for his professionalism and his knowledge of the system for getting our hot water system operating quickly.

Great customer Service

Had a great experience with this Company there office staff are very helpful and friendly my heating problem was quickly resolved and up and running in no time at all during a very cold week! Thank you.

Worst ever experience worst company ever.

Please don't use this company I had a warm air system that needed to be replaced.
Dave went to temporarily fix it ! And left my tenants with no warm water either.
Paid 500 only 250 is coming back and £90 I have to pay out of my pocket again to get a real electrician to fix the immersion working again.
It's a small company giving out estimates going their saying it's hopeless and changing 250 for call out for nothing.😮‍💨

We would like to address your negative review. We noticed that you have also left a similar review for British Gas and have had disputes with another heating company.

You did not specify what the £500 you paid us was for, so let us clarify for others reading this. You accepted our quotation to replace your heating system, and at the time of acceptance, we required a £500 non-refundable deposit. Based on your acceptance, we offered a temporary fix to get the heating working while you waited for the installation date. Unfortunately, we were unable to implement a fix due to the severity of the fault, which required a new unit.

It is important to note that our surveyor did not touch anything related to your hot water system, as it is completely separate from the warm air heating system. Any issues you experienced afterward were coincidental. You then chose not to proceed with the new warm air installation with us. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided you with a partial refund of the non-refundable deposit.

Most companies do not return non-refundable deposits, and the funds we retained helped cover the time our engineers spent attempting to repair your existing heating system and restocking fees for the new system that was ordered.

This company installed a replacement warm air boiler for us 3 years ago and did a great job. Since have carried out service work and enhancements. 100 % perfect. Highly recommend
