Don’t even consider for a second

A truly lamentable service.
An awful, awful service.
They agreed to deliver two texts on a Wednesday – that same afternoon, we write to check they’re still on schedule. No reply.
3 am the following day we get a message sending one translation and explaining they don’t have an available translator for the other language. Hmm…
Miraculously though (and after our paying someone else to take this on) by 8 am a ‘proofed’ translation arrived in our inbox. So two people in Scandinavia (translator and proofreader) clearly suffer from insomnia.
Sadly, much like the first translation, this one also contained errors.
Basically, from how NordicTrans explained it, they stick a job in a translator portal and their flock of translators takes it on if it interests them. Seems to be no matching up skillsets with the nature of the translation – just volume-based and the result is the churning out of (in the best case scenario) bog average texts.
Also, they require upfront payment – never a good sign…
Amusingly, when declining to make a partial refund, they wrote:
"We do hoe to work together in the future."
So got to give them five stars for their sense of humour.
In essence, they talk a good game but they are truly awful. Only AP Portugal can give them a run for their money in terms of incompetence, errors, poor project management, and BS. Steer clear. And if you try them, don’t say I didn’t warn you…
