Made an LLC with them last night, already had a question and called. A knowledgable person immediately picked up the phone and resolved it. Great experience.

I had 5 companies with Northwest Registered Agent. The past year I noticed they signed me up and auto billed me for services I never signed up for. I ask them for a refund and get no reply.

I had an issue with the Registered Agent in Anchorage where my city license for my LLC was created, but I my state license was not which forced me under a time crunch to do it all myself.
Quite an unhappy experience due to the error of one person.
The team here is great and after giving input, Eric Allen of Registered Agent's customer relations contacted me and made sure I had no issues. I was quite impressed, as unexpected as it was, for Eric to talk me through my situation and offer further help and support. I'm very happy with Northwestern as a whole and can recommend this as a great Registered Agent company. One mistake by one person doesn't equate to the company as a whole.

No response after multiple replies – filing stalled

I have received the same automated email from Northwest Registered Agent several times requesting a new business name for my company. I responded more than three times with the requested information, yet I have received no confirmation or response from a real person.

Because of this lack of communication, my filing appears to be completely stalled. I have also tried contacting them by email and phone, without success.

At this point, I am concerned about the status of my filing and the lack of customer support. I am posting this review in hopes that someone from Northwest Registered Agent will finally review my case, confirm receipt of my responses, and resolve the issue.

I am happy to resend the information if needed, but I need clear communication and confirmation.

This service was a complete waste of time and money. I’ve formed multiple business entities in the past using attorneys and other online services, and the process has always been straightforward and efficient.

In this case, everything Northwest did could have been done directly through the IRS and state websites, without the added fees or delays. Despite advertising speed and simplicity, they submitted documents by mail, which dragged a process that should take days into weeks.

There was also no meaningful guidance or high-touch support when issues arose. If you’re reading this, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Start with irs.gov and save your money, or hire an attorney for roughly the same cost. At least then you’ll know you’re fully compliant and have someone competent to help if problems come up.

Amanda Brooke was excellent helping me get setup right.

I had issues getting my credit card processed online so called support line. They answered right away. Issue was with my VPN. Arnold was my agent and he offered to setup the account and registration over the phone. We walked through each step as he created my account and then added and reviewed my business info. Arnold was very honest and straight forward and recommended where I could get best value and where I could wait when it came to the options they offered. He answered all of my questions and made sure I was set up and comfortable with everything. Great service. If their daily support is as good as their account setup team (i.e. Arnold S.) then we will be happy with their service.

Thuggery, simply. AVOID IT Good at registering your company yet their IT support took our website down saying it was migration then said there was a fault and when we asked them to give us the site details so we can take our business else where; they asked for a payment and called it cancelation fee. How is this not Blackmailing us. Day light Thuggery. AVOID IT

Netta Was amazing very calm sweet and patient with me she answered all of my questions and made me feel so motivated to accomplish my goal of forming an LLC it has been a while since I have had a great customer service experience Netta was like a ray of sunshine with the most delicate spirit I was having such a bad day but after talking to her I felt uplifted I cannot express how much of an amazing person she is I wish there were more representatives in the world like her I will tell all of my family and friends about this company and hope they get Netta. I’m very disappointed with my experience using Northwest Registered Agent for my New Mexico company formation. The State of New Mexico officially approves LLCs in about 2 days, and they even publish that timeline publicly. Meanwhile, Northwest left my filing sitting for 8 days with no updates at all.

During that time, I received no communication, no email responses, and they did not pick up my calls despite multiple attempts. The lack of transparency and customer support was extremely frustrating, especially when the state itself moves much faster than the service I paid for.

Based on my experience, the delay and total lack of responsiveness made this service feel unreliable. I cannot recommend Northwest Registered Agent after what I went through.

I called them directly in the mid afternoon pacific time, and someone answered right away. Her name was Amanda Brooke. I didn't want to sign up until I had some of my questions answered as I am new at this and don't have the patience to read into everything. I like to deal with a human being. Amanda spent over an hour on the phone with me, answering all my general questions and stayed on the line while I created my account and completed my order. She was patient, knowledgeable and I felt at ease about everything when I hung up.
It looks like it will be about 8 days before my LLC is filed and I'll have my EIN number. I look forward to writing a follow up review after I get results, so far I'm happy!

Formation already approved by the state , but Nortwest is still delaying my documents.
This is my second review because the situation has become even more unbelievable. After days of back and forth and being told that my formation documents would only be available in early December, I decided to check the Florida Secretary of State website myself.
To my shock, I found out that my company was already approved and ACTIVE on Nov 18th- long before Nortwest said anything.
So the delay was never from the state, it was from Nortwest's own internal communication failures. Even worse, they openly acknowledged the confusion in their email and still told me I would have to wait unti December to get my documents.
How is it acceptable that , have to discover my company's approval myself on the state wwebsite while the Registered Agent responsible for filing and receving the documents doesn't provide them on time ?
I rely on these documents for my Amazon business , and their delay directly affects my abilitly to operate. I submitted evrything on time.
The delay and the confusion were entirely on their side, yet I am the one suffering the consequences. This level of mismanagment should not happen in a service that markets itself as ''professional and reliable'' Clients deserve transparancy, accuarcy and basic coommunication- none of which I recieved.

I hope this review helps others understand the real experience behind the marketing promises.

Northwest Registered Agent has been a surprisingly good experience. The questions I had they answered via email. Initially we just ordered the Virtual Office, got the lease, signed the agreement and uploaded it to their dashboard. Everything within minutes. Our LLC formation filing was promptly made, and here they astonished us: our Articles of Organization ready for download later the same day. That was exceptional! The only initial confusion was their online workflow which asked me to set up a company when I just wanted a virtual office at first. However, filling in the future company name was just them creating a 'project' for me, and I still had full control over what services I wanted and when. I never felt out of control, nor my money at risk. A superb experience with stellar service!
