WOODY…

We hired Woody for a trip in March. We couldn't go because of lockdown.
Michelle was brilliant and changed the date to fit in with our other plans. She has been incredible from the beginning, responding to any queries immediately.
We had a fab time in Woody, and would definitely not hesitate to use Michelle and Nostalgic Campers again.Fabulous service and experience.

Be careful and avoid

The trip up until the last day was fine, then 'Polly' our vehicle, on the last day the roof would not go down (roof bracket bent). After explaining this to the owners we had to call out AA, they managed to secure the roof and we could drive back. However once we returned, no one was there to talk to about the incident and check the car whilst we were present. The following day we receive a phone call with bad news, its now a fiberglass crack in the roof nowhere near the roof bracket. We had given them £750 security deposit on top of the trip itself. They then wanted to go through our personal insurance not their own, so it would affect us and not them. After arguing our case they then decided they will go through their own insurance. But we will not see our deposit back and we have had to pay extra (for mileage over, correctly) that would have come out of the deposit. Overall left a real sour taste and ruined the experience.

Caveat Emptor....Buyer beware..

Polly broke down...took us 9 hours to get home
asked for a gesture of goodwill was told i "got what I paid for"
Sadly will not recommend this company..was not seeking compensation just an acknowledgement that we had acted with good grace and a little thanks for our understanding would have been greatly appreciated and gone a long way to make our experience one we would recommend
Some of comments and responses from Michelle I would not share...enough to say I did not feel like a valued customer
Yes we had a holiday and it was our journey home but we lost a whole day...after being dropped off by a recovery truck at a service station.8 hours after we set off...

Shameless Business - Avoid

After being told we couldn't use Polly due to gear failure 2 hours before we went, was suggested we picked a new date (given we'd booked everything, packed and ready to go, son's birthday surprise) ... not doable.

We were then given an option of another van "from somewhere else" but they wanted an extra £125 for it!
As time was so short we had no other option.

You'd think they'd be apologising profusely at this stage and taking any financial hit after already letting us down.

I have since found out it's part of their own fleet. They should never have charged us extra in the first place. Absolutely shameful business with no idea what good customer service is.

I wish I'd read the reviews on here first before booking with them as I'm not the only customer they've totally let down.

Enjoy the extra money you fleeced us out of due to your own broken down vans. Disgusting.

After just returning from a fabulous…

After just returning from a fabulous long weekend down to London, I can honestly say it was absolutely perfect. Polly was everything we expected and so much more!! We were provided with everything we needed and it was an amazing experience! Lovely people to do business with and the van was pristine. Just gutted we had to come away from it! Would definitely recommend it to anyone! We will definitely be returning in the future. A job well done and very professional all round. Thanks again Michelle & Neil x

Terrible Company

Terrible Company. An absolute scam. They hire you a van which is in terrible condition and not fit for purpose and then charge you loads of extras for things that are essential. Heating in the van didnt work, the roof was loose, there was no gas (even through we paid for it).
