STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. Went to buy this microphone around christmas but 20 minutes after buying it something didn't feel right so I went to cancel my order only to be told next day that it was already processed and being shipped. They use a return address tied to the shipping depo it was sorted at in the country being shipped to so you can't return it directly. The only way you can get the address to return it is to contact them which you can tell they don't want their cheap item back. Nonstop saying it wouldn't benefit them to take it back and I should keep it. Even went through my bank and disputed the charge saying all I wanted to do is to return it for my money back which at the time was with in their return policy. Monzo was useless in this case even with the overwhelming evidence of the back and forth messages with this company and them not honoring their own policy. Now I still have a useless piece of plastic and wire sitting in my house that I don't want. STAY AWAY from this company or whatever you want to call it.

SCAM SCAM STAY AWAY

Just like all the others who have reviewed. I found this Novanar microphone as part of a comparison article. Well when it arrived, it was a complete fake of what was sold. Not the right name, a S388, complete bullshit.
DO NOT BUY. It is a scam!
So annoyed as I wanted to really get my podcast started. ARGH!

Total scam

Total scam. Avoid! I googled a comparison of microphones and clicked on testcrunch.org. The Monovon microphone was listed as the best. I clicked on the link and purchased it for £99. The confirmation email called it a Novanar microphone F338. Although it looks the same, it has a completely differently name. Apparently my microphone has been with Evri for the past 4 days. No update and no delivery and no response to my enquiry email. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

This is a scam - DO NOT USE

This is a scam. And fairly sophisticated. Through a tech review website (TestCrunch; made to seem like TechCrunch) they have written a fake review about the Novanar microphone comparing it to many other good and well-known mics before ranking it as Number 1.

Once on their website they run a 'special' offering the mic at £99 down from £139 and with a countdown clock to the end of the sale. They advertise a Novanar-branded "F338" microphone and identify as a Finnish company.

Once shipped you will see that the product is actually from China and, when it arrives, it is a cheap, inferior, knock-off product unbranded, in a generic box, and with 'S338' written on the mic. So not even the 'F338' they claim.

Their website states that within 14 days if you want to return for a refund you can contact them and they will provide the return address. I have been back and forth with them over more than a week and they continually dodge and avoid the problem, insisting that it is real and that I will "enjoy the product". They then try to offer 'compensation' of 5% but will never provide the return address.

Ultimately, they are a fake Chinese drop-shipping company to be avoided at all costs.

If you are in this position already, I strongly suggest contacting your bank to arrange a charge-back and keep all email exchanges with Novanar to prove they will not provide the return address.

Received unbranded, cheap microphone that is truly awful. The built-in mic on my webcam is far superior in quality. This is a total scam, avoid at all cost!!

Novanar.net is a scam site. Stay away.

I Bought a Novanar F338 microphone.
It took 10 days to arrive. It was shipping via air.
Upon receiving and opening it, it’s not what I ordered. It is instead a cheaper microphone, An S338.
I’m emailed the seller many times and just got nothing back. It says to email them for their address, but I have gotten nothing.
I want a refund, I want to return the item and get a refund, since it’s not what it’s meant to be.
Novanar.net site is a scam, run by someone in China. DO NOT USE THEM!

Misleading Cheaply made podcast mic

This company claims to be Finnish making quality microphone priced at £99. But instead send you a cheaply made unbranded microphone you can buy in any cheap electronics shop for about £20. This is a scam which is supported by a review from a supposed sound engineer on a website called techcrunch .org. it is very misleading.
