Great on day of move and team great. They broke a marble side table which they admitted on the day a via email. Since then they have ignored all emails and done nothing to rectify. This was an expensive item and they are obliged to fix. I can only assume they don’t have the level of cover in place they should. Otherwise no idea why thy have not fulfilled their obligation. From reading comments below this isn’t the first time this has happened. We are now taking legal action which is a waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs - there are other companies out there who I am sure will act with integrity. This incident took male early Feb 2025.

We had originally booked Now We’re Moving for our home move, paying a deposit in good faith. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen changes in our housing chain, the moving date had to shift. Despite giving them notice and asking to reschedule, the company told us they were unable to accommodate the new date — and then refused to return our deposit.

We received no service from them whatsoever, yet were left out of pocket. I understand that businesses have policies, but there was absolutely no flexibility, no empathy, and no attempt at a compromise. Avoid if your moving plans aren’t set in stone — they’ll happily take your money and give nothing in return.

All comms were dealt with Rick, booking and quote were handled efficiently and timely. The moving day, chaps arrived on time and were very quick to move all my possessions.
However 2 days after the move, once we finished unpacking I noticed a few items were damaged and broken. For the small low value items it was easy for me to write off however 2 high value items were damaged. I called the office number on Sunday with no answer so then tried texting Rick on the Monday again no answer. Tried calling the office on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday no answer. Tried calling/emailing Rick again on Wednesday.
Reading review this seems to be a common complaint with this company. All is well until an item is damaged. Use with caution, do not expect any aftercare or make any claims under their insurance. Very disappointing!

What a stress free move! Luke and the team helped us move at the end of July. They were flexible with the dates as our move kept being delayed. They were resourceful and helpful when thinking about how to get us into our house down a very narrow road into an older house with some very tricky stairs and corridors. They were friendly polite and just really terrific. From start to finish working with Now We Are Moving was the least stressful part of our move!

Rick helped me move a very large old table from House of Fraser in the West Country to my home in Reading at short notice. The item was sold as seen in the shop floor and had to be removed by an experienced company who held public liability insurance. We contacted Now We’re Moving and they were able to schedule the transfer of the furniture the following day to Reading. Excellent service!

Hi I have used their service on Saturday 27/may/23 to move my house from Shepton mallet to Yeovil.
The team turned up on time at 8 am started work - while moving my Oak dining able they broke it. they tried to fix it but it was cracked wood. they informed Rick their boss and apologised to me.
when reached Yeovil they have decide to force open my electric garage door manually and kept a ladder under and to keep it open for 2 hours . I asked they why did you not ask the keys. they just smiled. Garage door has been broken from the rail and it doesn't work any more. they tried to fix it but failed same as my dining table.

They have filled the relevant forms and informed Rick again.
I was expecting a call or email from Rick on Monday or Tuesday.

I tried to ring His number 07725829086 at least 20 times never answered. Rung the chilcompton branch- the chap who sit there says he passed the message. Never contacted me back.

never answered my WhatsApp my messages - until he got the business and money he was free to ring me and after collecting my money he disappeared.

I don't recommend this company and the team at all - they are not genuine. if they are they would have called me back and discussed something about insurance or compensation.

Avoid this company!!!

Rick and his crew are heroes.
We had a difficult move into a house up a steep drive. They packed our stuff, drove 2 hrs to the new place and spent 7 hours unloading at the bottom of the slope and carrying everything up bit by bit.
Not once did I hear a grumble or see them give in until all our things were delivered.
Total stars everyone!
Highly recommend this company.
