NPS Solovair Reviews 

First time ordering from Solovair. I saw a lot of praise online and decided to go ahead with an order. I saw a lot of people say to size down, but also that the shipping is quick which helped with sending back if the fit was off. I placed my order June 8th, and received June 16, which is a bit longer than I expected but nothing to complain about in terms of international shipping at all. The problem I had was with the shipping updates. I placed the order, and I got a couple updates about bringing it to the international shipping centre, but after that basically nothing. I’d click the carrier update links provided to me and get redirected to pages that said something along the lines of “Incorrect tracking number or error loading”, and there was around 2-3 different sites provided. The day before the arrival, I got a vague email from a different courier that had no previous updates except for “out for delivery, arriving today”, and that was early in the morning. For the rest of the day I kept an eye out and made sure someone was around to grab it as theft has been an issue before. But that was the 15th and it was out for delivery the whole day and didn’t arrive. The 16th it still said it was out for delivery, but at this point I thought it was lost, but then randomly it arrived in the evening with a delayed update. The plastic surrounding the box was partially ripped, and the box itself looked pretty beaten up. Thankfully nothing on the inside was damaged. The shoes are a bit big, so I should’ve sized down at least half a size more (1 and a half sizes down), but I have stuff I ordered off Amazon to make the fit better because I’d rather not deal with the shipping again. The shoes themselves are beautiful and I can tell will be a favourite part of my wardrobe. I’m just a bit disappointed in the shipping especially after seeing praise online, lack of updates and unorganized in terms of couriers, and also the state the box was in. I assume this isn’t a typical shipping situation, so if anyone reads this and is interested in Solovair I’d say go ahead, but my experience wasn’t as fluid as I expected.

I did a mistake with the shoe size purchased. The costumer assistant Viv took charge personally and very quickly to change my order directly in the warehouse! Can't thank they enough for the service. Thank you Viv you are great (:

In September of 2025 I had purchased a pair of Solovair Tassel Loafers for a friend's wedding. After one wear the tassel sadly broke off. I had emailed Solovair to see if they were able to help repair and luckily they were.
I didn't follow up on this until June 2026 (which I wish I didn't leave for so long).
I sent the shoe on 3rd June and received an email from Joanne to say that the shoe has been received from the courier and it will take 10-14 days to repair.

Today is 10th June, a week after sending the shoe by a courier and I have the shoe back and repaired. Incredible service. Fast repair and fast return.

I would like to thank the entire solovair team for their great, fast service.

I have purchased 3 pairs of Solovairs and this has been the only time I have had a fault which was very quickly fixed. I will continue to shop Solovair in the future.

Viv & the Team have always been fast and efficient, answering our questions patiently and informatively.
We look forward to receiving the products soon, and giving our feet the footwear they deserve :D
Based on this experience, we will def look to buy Solovair in future.

Fast delivery and high quality boots.
After being very disappointed by my last pair of Doc Martens 1460 Made in England (apparently even with these, the quality is going down the drain), I needed a suitable replacement.
The Solovair equivalent (8-eye derby boots) are just the ticket, and from now on I’ll only be buying these without shedding a tear for Docs.
I wore them brand new, straight out of the box, for a 4-day music festival and they never let me down and were never uncomfortable.
I can’t comment on the long-term quality yet, but they seem at least as good as my old ‘Made in England’ Docs, and the sole is definitely better.

Background, I purchased a pair of monkey boots a year ago and they are too narrow for my feet and couldn't wear them anymore. I called customer service who gave me a lovely discount on a wider boot which is fabulous.

I had recently purchased a pair of the tassel loafers and one of the tassel’s had fallen off on a night out. I reached out to customer service and they kindly replaced the tassel free of charge and covered the cost of the cobbler to fix it. I was blown away by the level of customer service received. Viv and Karen we’re extremely helpful from start to finish!!

First. The boots are fantastic. I’m excited to see how they turn out long-term but so far I’m impressed. Also, I had a return and their customer service was above and beyond.

Had to return a pair of limited edition Derby boots due to a minor issue and the return was handled very smoothly and quickly with full refund of the purchase price and delivery cost plus a prepaid return label supplied. Sadly there was no further production run planned so it looked like I would need to order a different style. Joanne stepped in and managed to locate a pair of the same boot uppers that were then put through manufacture and sent out specifically for me. Outstanding service, and I couldn’t be happier with my new boots. I can thoroughly recommend Solovair footwear and their customer service.

I had an issue with the welt in my shoe splitting and they were wonderful about it. They explained how it could have happened and offered me a replacement pair as a gesture of good will. The boots are extremely comfortable and require hardly any time to break in. Great customer service.

Without even getting into the product itself as genuinely high-quality shoes, their service and commitment to customer satisfaction are among the best I have ever experienced

About a year and a half ago, I purchased a pair of Solovairs. I'd originally bought Doc Martens and loved them, but when I found out they couldn't be re-soled, I did some research and discovered that Solovair were the original makers in England, so I made the switch.

Fast forward to about three weeks ago. I was wearing them while riding my motorcycle when I was sideswiped and went down on the interstate at around 50mph. Every article of clothing I had on was essentially torn off, and I ended up with extensive second degree road rash burns that required skin grafting and a week in the hospital.

The road rash started exactly where the top of the boots stopped. I have multiple broken bones and road rash everywhere, but my feet are completely fine, and that's because of your boots. As painful as this recovery has been, I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I couldn't walk.

I wanted to share this because quality genuinely matters. Those boots saved my feet, and I'm grateful I was wearing them. The only thing that gave way were the laces, which is about as irrelevant as it gets as they weren't the ones protecting me.

I loved the look, and how they felt, but after this accident and seeing first hand how they held up, I'll be recommending them to anyone who will listen. Please know you now have a loyal customer for life.

Although the shoes I ordered had to go back as they were a bit wide, they were lovely. The best bit was the amazing customer service. Spoke to Joanne who was so helpful, helped with a return and gave me good advice about looking for a different last when I order in future. Would definitely recommend

Ordered a pair of Dealer boots online, but the size was too small. I spoke to Joanne at NPS, who arranged an in-store exchange. Mandy at the Wollaston store was incredibly helpful, ensuring I got the correct fit and handling the swap seamlessly. An excellent in-store customer experience.

I’ve recently purchased another pair of your Gaucho Crazy Horse dealer boots.

My previous pair lasted me over 5 years and travelled through 10+ countries. I wore them almost every day, and they were honestly the most impressive shoes I’ve ever owned in terms of durability.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how the new pair holds up over time. Really appreciate the quality you put into your footwear.

I bought a pair of Solovair boots about 2 years ago. I've worn them heavily since then, and to be honest haven't taken as good care of them as I could have done, but they're still in great condition overall. I don't know anywhere that does leather boots this good that aren't a lot more expensive than Solovair. I hope they haven't changed in the meantime, as I was thinking of buying a new pair (not to replace the old mind you, I just want an extra pair)
