Bought an Ultimate fold away fan a couple of years ago
its internal battery is not holding charge for more than a few hours on low speed (no other features being used i.e. rotate) And it doesn't work without using its internal battery even when plugged in.
This was expensive so it is appalling that an otherwise working fan has to be scrapped just because it needs a battery replacing!..... It is high time all manufacturers were made to enable user replacement of rechargeable batteries.

My fan was stored in the attic over winter, got it down and the red light comes on to charge after 5 hours tried to turn it on but nothing. Contacted them but unfortunately the information given was nothing. Promised by a person to call me back to see if I could replace the battery but presumably it’s sealed so no joy. My daughter bought it a few years ago, but not sure where from. What a waste if time and money. Will not buy their product again!

Avoid buying a fan from this manufacturer as they run their lines for a few years then stop manufacturing the spare parts. I have three functional fans that are unusable as they have stopped manufacturing the fan blades for my particular model. All the fan blades have broken during use as cheaply manufactured and all they offered was a measly discount to purchase a different model. I have avoided buying from this company again and chosen another brand who are more reliable. There should be aftermarket fan blades available that are universal for this model. With the current heatwave it is unbearable whilst I await delivery for the new fan

Much as I wish to support British designed products I am disappointed to say that my MTF-30 Chinees made NSA fan was not a good purchase. It was described as silent when I bought it a few years ago but was never silent. Turning it on today it just makes a grinding noise. Already useless as a bedroom fan because of the loud beeping when you press any button which would wake a sleeping partner, and now unusable because of the noise I would say avoid this silent fan or any product NSA might claim was silent.

One of the few companies that can actually supply replacement remotes for their fans. Reasonable cost and speedy delivery. Impressed.

The fan is very quiet and powerful. Cools down the bedroom in no time. You can switch off the red display when going to sleep.
