Very slow system

I ordered a channel fader weeks ago and I'm still waiting. The whole process has been like going back to 1998. You would never believe we are in 2024 when ordering something from numark. As I continue waiting the product has still to arrive in their warehouse before being shipped out to me. I have a numark mixstream pro and the channel fader busted with in two years, obviously out of warranty. I don't go crazy on the fader so for it to be broken so soon came as a shock. Maybe I should of stayed clear of numark and went to pioneer

UNACCEPTABLE

I purchased the Numark NS7 MarkIII controller for $1500, expecting a premium experience. However, since the macOS Big Sur update, the controller has been rendered completely unusable. Despite reaching out to customer support and even downgrading my OS to Catalina as advised, the issue remains unresolved.

The lack of a clear and concise solution from the company is deeply disappointing. I've invested not only money but also significant time and effort trying to make this product work. It's disheartening to see such a lack of responsibility and accountability from a brand that charges premium prices for its products.

I regret my purchase and advise potential buyers to think twice before investing in this product. The after-sales support has been lackluster, and the product's compatibility issues have made it a regrettable purchase. I expected more from a brand like Numark.

What happened to Numark?

What happened to Numark? They used to have amazing products I've owned several Nurmak mixers, speakers an NS6 and NS7. But now they just make crap, have poor customers service and just seem to be going no where or maybe out of business. So many better companies for DJ related gear out there. Shop else where, Numark is obviously a thing of the past.

Numark and Mixstream Pros

I purchased a Mixstream Pro. I've owned several Numark DJ Controllers and wanted to up my game and with this being the latest controller from Numark, I eagerly awaited its arrival.

Upon arriving, I attempted to set up the controller. No matter what I did, it would not be recognized by my DJ software. I tried several different suggestions that I found in their forums, to no avail. I even tried setting it up on a different computer thinking I may have had a hardware problem. Again, no success.

So, on the hardware end, I would not recommend this controller. But on the company end, I am extremely disappointed. I did open a ticket which also took some doing. My Numark account was not the credentials I needed to be able to track my ticket. For that I had to create another account for inMusic. Frustrating. And then... after 12 days of no response from what resembled a live human being, I have given up and am now returning the controller to them.

Numark - please take care of your customer service. This experience is bad enough, I likely won't seek another Numark product. You need someone to send some sort of response to tickets - waiting for 12 days and nothing is atrocious.

So I got a mixstream Pro standalone dj…

So I got a mixstream Pro standalone dj controller for Xmas and in less than 4 months the crossfader failed entirely

And on top of this the software has issues with the hardware that stops all function of the switches buttons and faders which as a dj is not ideal if you are half way through a mix on live

I spoke to numark who accepted that this was not fit for purpose in this case the fader issue seems to be more widespread from the reps comments but the software issue is known to them

However the store I bought it from don't seem to understand consumer rights

I have had to send the deck back at my own cost
And the owner of the store seems to think getting the crossfader fixed and shipping it back to me are going to solve the issue of the constant deck freezes
He won't except that I have no confidence in this deck for live performance

Now I've been a dj for 27 years and had loads of different dj setups from 1210s to 505s

And I have never had a ctossfader fail in some cases 2 years

Let alone a software issue that renders the deck useless halfway through a set

I'm not saying avoid numark I've had some quality controllers and turntables from them over the years
What I am saying is avoid the midstream if you are serious about dj ING as this deck falls a long way short of professional in my eyes its more a gimmick than a tool of the trade
