Victorian pine doors - very impressed

Got nine Victorian pine doors stripped on the cheapest option. They were covered in many layers of thick, horrible paints and varnishes and were pretty knackered so didn't expect a great finish. They came back absolutely wonderful and didn't need any sanding before oiling. Great communication, great guys and the doors were ready in a week but I left them with the place another week to dry out.

Dresser was returned in an appalling state.

My beautiful old pine kitchen dresser was returned a week later than agreed in appalling poor condition.

It now has broken and split shelves and backboards. Missing sections of moulding Numerous areas where the paint has not been stripped. Nails and staples have been hammered in to reattach some panels and the doors and drawers no longer close. The wood has come apart on several joints and has badly warped in other places. The finish of the sanding is shockingly poor with rough unsanded areas.

The dresser was supposed to be returned in a stripped and sanded condition. Ready to have the finish applied. However, it was returned with all the faults mentioned above as well as being full of paint flecks, sanding paper disks and dust and the sanding is so poor that it isn't possible to apply a finish.

There has been a total lack of care and skill in the stripping, and sanding of this furniture, which has resulted in extensive damage and distress to it.

The whole process from the pick-up, to the return of this dresser has been a nightmare, my phone calls to the company were not answered, times scales constantly shifted, there was a lack of information about the progress of the work and the returned dresser was in such terrible condition, that more time and money will have to be spent to resolve the issues caused by this company. It has been a distressing and costly experience.
