Sent a complaint and had no response
STILL NO RESPONSE ITS now march 2026
Sent a complaint and had no response. Then had a email to ask me how customer service did. I wasn't even responded to. Bottom of the screen is cut off when you recline in the "better" seats. Film was so low that you could hear everyone. I had to leave my seat and sit right at the front as people was constantly getting up and down and talking all over. Why is there no staff anymore to monitor the rooms. Anything could happen and no one would know. Totally spoilt a rare night out for me. Won't be renewing my membership this year. Constant issues. From mice for months to poor seats that you can't recline as the wall Infront covers the bottom of the screen. Sound is to low it's boiling hot at the back of seats of the cinema and freezing at the front. Will be going to Vue cinema from now on

First time in 23 years I decided to go I am 68 years old I wanted something to do in my spare time so I was thinking about going to the Cinema at least twice a week with my wife :) film was due to start at 7.30 . And we had to sit and watch Adverts for over 21 min then Film previews 12 Min Terrible sound watching this rubbish why so loud !!! back in the day it was expected to sit and watch a few minutes of adverts but over 33 min of Rubbish . !!!!! Won't be going back
Not odeON…it is odOFF
I am a limitless plus member of Odeon for nearly 1 year now. All most all times that I have visited Odeon, more than half of their seats are empty. I can't remember a time seeing even new movies full house. Still they ban your online booking rights if miss shows. Totally unhelpful company. Too much hype. It is no way near luxury. I have actively discouraged friends and family from going there. It not odeOn, it is odeOFF.
I usually visit a different cinema…
I usually visit a different cinema because I can get discounted tickets through work but on this occasion showing times weren't ideal so we decided to book with Odeon. I bought the two discounted voucher codes to use only to find that Odeon add a booking fee after you've added the voucher codes (so no way to decline to continue the transaction) for every seat you choose. This meant that with the booking fee added, there was actually no saving to be made from buying through my work - which is the point - it's part of the benefits package. Choosing the 'better' seats in the cinema resulted in an additional £3 per seat booking fee! I will not be going to Odeon again but stick to the two cinemas who do honour the discount vouchers. Also, as others have said, the website is deliberately opaque about pricing and clunky at best. Be warned!
Odeon Wimbledon
Ladies toilets are disgusting, reported to staff running tape
Over flowing bins
Paid extra
For Lux chairs don’t seem any different to the seats behind.
Odeon has a truly awful website
Odeon has a truly awful website.
As soon as I click on their weblink it refuses to connect & this message from CLOUDFLARE comes up
“Sorry, you have been blocked
You are unable to access odeon.co.uk”
Why have I been blocked?
This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.
So clicking on their website to buy tickets is now an online attack? Hilarious 😆
Guess I will be using the Cineworld from now on.
Just profiteering and greedy at this point
Greed, greed and more greed. Now they're charging extra for what were previously standard cinema screens and today I see they've added a Standard+ chargeable tier for normal seats. Disgraceful.
Utterly embarrassing website
Utterly embarrassing website, I just tried booking seats for the Fantastic Four movie that came out recently to go watch with a friend of mine but the payment got frozen on the website for some reason and the payment was taking ages and ages to go through and never did. So I tried to restart my order again but because the seats I tried booking previously are kept in reservation since the payment hadn't gone through for the last order, meaning I couldn't rebook with the same seats we wanted even after waiting an hour to see if they become free again. So not only did my order not go through and I can no longer get the seats I want, I can't even get back the £34 I just spent until probably a week later since I can't cancel pending transactions when we were planning to go watch the movie tomorrow!
Very expensive and underwhelming experience
Took my two grandsons to the Odeon Kingston. Tried to book tickets on the website - why is there no pricing information earlier in the process? Decided to abandon the website when I saw that tickets (for a 12:40 showing on a Thursday) were nearly £12 each AND there was a £3 booking fee! We walked to the cinema and booked using the automated system in the foyer - same price tickets (3 x £11.85) but at least no booking fee. Cinema was empty (surprise, suprise), staff didn't show any enthusiasm or helpfulness and (of course) snacks were priced outrageously. No wonder movie-going is in decline; who can afford those prices?
Poor customer service
Got a strike on my limitless because no one scanned my ticket even though I went to the movie
Customer service said they can't do anything and just not to get 3 so I don't get the 7 day ban
Very friendly staff
Very friendly staff
Clean cinema theatres
Good value for money
Absolute shocking customer service
Absolute shocking customer service, ruin your day and dont even offer any compensation, utterly utterly shocking.
Excruciatingly Bad Movie
Seat was FAR too comfortable which entrapped me leaving me no choice but to go to ER to get my legs removed as I could not get up. This would have been ok If I wasn't watching Black Adam which felt like I was in a Blacked scene where Cholula hot sauce was used as lube. Extremely painful watch. It would have been easier to find Bigfoot's balls in his untamed pant forest than watch this movie. This theatre has only survived because the CIA take notes when watching their films for torture methods.
Bought Odeon e card
Bought Odeon e card, waited hour to activate, now been 8 hours still not activated, missed film
Odeon Luxe Leicester Square
Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. I was upset that had to pay additional £8 on top of my Lloyds cinema vouchers. Girl at till did not sell it to me at all and called her manager over. The man that came was called Ian and he was the Experience Manager. Let me just say this guy is amazing. He turned the whole situation round to a positive and had my negative frustrations blown out of the window. This guy should be the Manager. He clearly cares and knows his job and the impact that it can have on customers. I have total respect for him and I hope his bosses acknowledge how good he is. He really enhanced my experience and anyone who can turn my mood around when I'm frustrated, is exceptional at what they do. Thank you Geordie Ian.
Cleaners not cleaning
Just sat down in Screen 3 after waiting outside the screen for what felt like an eternity. Expecting to find a lovely clean seat.... I mean they were in there for ages ....
They were not clean
They were filthy
My wife found glasses in the corner of her seat.
I mean she wears glasses but they are not her style.
Website written as a GCSE project
The Odeon website is just terrible. I get problems all the time when trying to order tickets. Sometimes it wont take payment, other times it will just crash for no reason and then lose your seats. Today I have gone to order 4 seats and done everything included adding codes and gift card as payment. It failed with a nice message saying something went wrong click to refresh. That does noting and now if I want the same seats I have to wait 30 mins for my selection to time out as there is no way to get it back, even thought I am logged in. I don't know who they asked to create the website but I can only assume it was a GCSE project. Not fit for purpose.
Hakim was so friendly and helpful at…
Hakim was so friendly and helpful at the Odeon in broadway plaza. A valuable member to the odeon team
Website obstructive so gave up
We love going to the cinema. But the Odeon's website is horrific! It doesnt tell you seat prices until a later stage, and a huge banner at the bottom appears showing you the total cost so you have to do everything through a tiny window at the top. You cant add a code after you have selected seats - you have to put them down to zero and add it then add them back in again. Plus theres having to identify traffic lights, then buses - there's better ways to verify I am human, Odeon! Then the code we were using didnt work - should have, no way to find out why not, in the end we just gave up.
