Olympic Blinds has had my blinds for a warranty issue for approximately seven months with no resolution. Delays are repeatedly blamed on the manufacturer, yet no clear timeline or progress was provided.
Communication was extremely poor. The vice president, who handled this issue, did not return calls, voicemails, or emails from me or my husband and communicated only by text. I was told things like “It’s busy season,” that they would “get to it when they can,” and that pursuing small claims would be “a waste of time and money.”
After contacting the manufacturer directly, I was told they were waiting on Olympic Blinds to authorize the remake. Even after requesting a refund, the owner never contacted me. I have been told 3 times now that my blinds were being shipped back and I still do not have them.
Many Yelp reviews describe similar problems with communication and warranties, and my experience matched those concerns. Based on how this is be handled, I would not recommend Olympic Blinds to anyone who expects reliable warranty support or professional follow-through.

We have recently had Olympia Blinds fit blinds and shutters into our new home. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the work carried out, the professionalism of the service provided and the friendliness of both Anne and Alex in our dealings with them.
Their quotation was easy to understand and was actually cheaper than other quotes we had.
I personally don't think you can go wrong with this local business who really understand their market and their customers.

In 2003 we had blinds installed by Olympic Blinds located in Olympia, Washington. Not many local shops stocking and installing blinds, so we ended up going back to Olympic Blinds 20 years later (in 2023) when the original blinds were in need of replacement due to normal wear and tear. Olympic Blinds is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about getting the right product aligned with your windows/window types.

They provided detailed and accurate bids with no hidden costs or fees, and provided the products on dates and times that fit customer needs.
