I have leased two cars from OnDrive Leasing. Both arrived with serious faults.
My first car leased from them was an Aiways U5. Throughout the lease it developed a growing list of faults, including recurring door handle failures, charging problems, and eventually simultaneous warnings across ABS, ESC, and the braking system. The authorized workshop in Aarhus was unable to diagnose the car because the Aiways diagnostic tool was offline across the entire country. The unreliability of the brand left me with a car whose safety could not be verified, in winter conditions. After a formal complaint to OnDrive, the lease was terminated early.
I then leased a BYD Atto 3 from them, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Within the first week I reported that the car was losing around 10% battery every 12 hours while parked. Their response was to suggest I had a scheduled preheating setting active. I did not. Less than a month into the lease, the 12V battery died completely while the car was parked over a weekend. Roadside assistance had to be called twice within 30 minutes.
The pattern across both cars points to the same problem, the vehicles not being properly inspected before they are handed over to customers. All these are problems that a pre-delivery inspection should have caught.
I have nothing against the individual people at OnDrive Leasing, who have generally been extremely helpful and polite. The problem is systemic. The cars are not being properly checked before they are handed over to customers.
