This is the one of the sketchiest providers in France…
This is the one of the sketchiest dedicated server provider I have worked with to date. Also their entire support team is rude.
I purchased one of their new AMD EPYC servers that has the Qanta IPMI and they advertised Windows Server was supported (via install over KVM on Java.. not great since Qanta doesn't have attached media but oh well, I need the EPYC processor)
I spent 10 days working back and forth on every single (bad) idea their support reps provided to get the KVM over Java working. They updated firmware, they provided detailed guides and steps for completely separate issues, all the while ignoring by request for refund (which was repeatedly made)
If you are going to offer a new product, test it first. And graciously provide refunds if it doesn't work. Don't be a greedy company like Online.net - they don't care.
I took all of my 10 services with them on my $2500/month account and moved providers... all over $500 they refuse to refund (was after the 20th of the month, couldn't even cancel until 1.5 months later HAH)
Also this company requires you to cancel 10 days prior to monthly service renewal which is so unethical.
This company may be cheap but you sure as hell get what you pay for.
The best network and best good price…
The best network and best good price performance ratio!
I cannot understand the bad reviews...This host has a super fast network!! Promised 1gbit/s, receiving 2 gbit/s approx.
If we continue like this I will always buy from online.net
Nice advertising but bad accounting :(
Nice advertising but bad accounting :(
In the beginning it all looked so nice and good until the first bill rolled in, they charge you per 2 months or 1 and a half month so suddenly you are stuck with bills you can't pay (or at least didn't anticipate on) and they are not flexible on how you can pay to fix payment issues; "no sorry customer can't do that" "we will sent a bailiff if you don't pay and etc" while that was not the order, i wanted to pay but per month. Too bad, had high hopes but they turned me around 360, never again.

Don't Understand the Criticism
I'm sick and tired of the same bunch of trolls being paid by A2 and Hostgator to leave bad reviews on competitor's ratings.
I've been with Online for 4 years and surprisingly enough I've never considered leaving. Their servers and services are top notch, no downtime, no complaints. Additionally, the price is unbeatable as far as i know there is no competitor that comes close to their price for performance. Kimsufi has similar priced ones but with only 100Mbps compared to their 1Gbps.
wanted a windows server, was conned :(
wanted a windows server, but upon purchasing the "offer" was told "sorry, windows isn't available on this offer". They refused to offer me a refund claiming the server had been "used".
Glad to find out early how poor this company is. I can only imagine the disaster if I already had a business running on their servers.
I don't really have much to say
I don't really have much to say. I guess it's pretty decent for cheap low-end dedicated servers. You can't really expect decent customer service with that kind of plans, but I guess it's only to be expected due to the cheap pricing? Anyway, always make sure to backup all the important configuration data. You never know when the disk drives will fail on you, haha.
Unacceptable service
Absolutely unacceptable service.
Project was sold to another owner and they refuse to change account holder unless we provide them with COURT documents!?! Apparently their support team is not much of legal experts as asset sales do not go through courts so such documents can obviously not be furnished.
The same account change was done for Google cloud, OVH and many other providers without any trouble at all. It seems the invoicing system of Online.net (Scaleway) is no good and they have trouble changing this there which is why they find any way to refuse this account holder transfer.
Read other reviews here and elsewhere about Scaleway (Online.net) and you will see that their support is the main reason you should not touch them with a stick.
I would give 0 stars if I could, this company should be shut down by the police!
I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is run by incompetent thieves and should be shut down by the police and kicked off by their payment provider.
It was all well and nice as long as I was using the service. Good value and stable server. However, in June of 2018, I contacted them to cancel the service as I no longer needed it. A ticket from their customer support confirmed that my service had been terminated and that no further charge would occur.
Despite this, I later discovered that they kept charging my card each month since, up until now in March 2019. In other words they stole huge amounts of money from me over many months. Oh well - honest mistakes can happen to everyone, we're all human after all.
But no! I contacted their customer support to inform them that they had kept charging me despite my service being cancelled, and asked them to refund me my money. Well, I ended up using many hours on this and back and forth for days, but no matter my many attempts to resolve this in an amicable manner they still refuse to refund me my money despite them being in the wrong in no uncertain terms. Instead they kept charging my card even more money for a service I no longer had subscribed to for months, after me threatening legal action and to contact their payment provider.
Today I cancelled my card and initiated a chargeback claim. STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE.NET AT ALL COSTS! Seriously, I wouldn't use them again if they were the last provider on earth. I hope you guys go down ASAP. You don't deserve to be running a company. Completely unacceptable and illegal conduct, as well as rude and aggressive customer support.
online.net stole my money
online.net stole my money, Please be careful with this hosting provider, They never let you delete all your card detail so they can stole your money every month.
Online SAS sucks!
Online.net and Scaleway and Dedibox and Oneprovider and...
It's the same thing that operates multiple "brands" because the whole thing is a scam and fraud.
Stay away.
Edit: How are they sitll not bankrupted or closed by the police ?
They operate freaking Data Centers ?
If you want to cancel a server from…
If you want to cancel a server from them they will charge you for the next month and if you didn't pay they will lock your account. Example: if you tried to cancel a server in 22 October, they will charge you for November (the whole server price for extra month) and then they will cancel it in December. The only service that asks you to pay one more month before canceling any server!!
Decent servers but nightmare to…
Decent servers but nightmare to cancelling.
The server I used for many months and never had an issue with. I've decided to move in-house and requested it was cancelled at the end of July. I requested this on the 23rd July in writing and via their online service. I was told I'd missed the 20th cut-off so I would have to pay another month. I did this with no issues.
Today I got an invoice from them. I logged a ticket to be told I never cancelled it. What a load of rubbish, I have emails and screenshots confirming I did.
Now they're trying to take payment still and refusing to remove my debit card details from their system. Fortunately that one expires in a month so I have no issues with cancelling it.
Totally unreliable
Cheap, but totally unreliable services, which makes absolutely no sense to use them. Every attempt to use their services wounded up in frustration.
Online.net - Avoid this hosting
Online.net Support to their hosting solution is not existing at all.
System are not good enough if you consider also the price/quality that they gave.
Control panels for the solutions you choose are outdated and with a bad user experience.
Overall if you encounter any problem, don't even try to contact the support: the only thing they do is pointing out for "outsourcing resource" instead of fixing their own sever issues.
Online.net tech support don't even reboot a machine after 24hours of ping downtime and answer to support tickets in arrogant way.
Do not choose online.net
There are plenty of better hosting company out there, at better prices.
More than 24 hours down
I had asked to replace disk 30 April and disks were replaced in 8 days.
After replace server was down for 24 hours. Time to respond to the ticket more 12 hours in this case. Even phone call did not help us.
I highly would not recommend this provider for anybody.
Great value
Great value. Competent support. No hand holding but real problems resolved very promptly (never had more than an hour wait even over weekend and on low tier support).
Already 6 days not possible to use my server
I have a server with online.net. It is now day 6 that I cannot use it. I am sending mails to their customer support several times a day to ask them to please fix the problem. I get answers from different support people, asking the same again and again. There is completely no sense of any urgency. I feel like I am talking to a wall. They are incompetent.

Cancelled server 3 months ago - i still get charged. i cancel my paypal automatic payments - they charged my OLD credit card!! Scam company
If possible I would give the 0 stars.
If possible I would give the 0 stars.
they put offline a server with 500 clients account on it without giving any explaination. All the answers we got were just to take time. Luckily we had external backups and we managed to provision a new server with another provider and recreated the accounts there.
all the answer we got were: please wait while I check, and this answer took hours and hours every time. after a month we still don't have an explaination about the reason of the block.
this company is a joke (or a scam) just stay away
