I didn't have to do anything. Great. I am a writer not a promoter, and I would be happy to use this service again.

My only complaint is the number of email messages I get asking for information I've already provided.

The required steps are not clearly explained, making it difficult to get a book advertised, even after it has been reviewed.

I highly recommend this platform to both aspiring writers and book reviewers. It provides a wonderful opportunity to develop your writing skills while encouraging you to think beyond the perspective of an ordinary reader. Being part of this community is genuinely exciting and rewarding.

One of the things I appreciate most is that they introduce readers to talented, lesser-known authors whose work truly deserves recognition. It's a space that values honest reviews, meaningful discussions, and the growth of both readers and writers alike.

Nisha Dsousa was particularly helpful with my digital deficiency. I had great trouble understanding all the instructions which are written in a language called internetese, which contains relatively few recognizable English words. Nisha was patient, understanding and helpful on all points. I won't click on "want a tip" with the
lightbulb,2026 as it's probably in internetese.

Always a great experience. Love the books. So grateful to get paid for my reviews.

Update:
After speaking with the supposed owner over the course of days, I not only stand by my experience but want to add.
They tried to insult the importance of my payment as measly and shifted blame to me even though the author and publisher don't list the book as containing profanity as it's a children's book. They care more about preventing truth from being seen than moving with integrity. Any company that requires you to not openly criticise them is questionable at best.
They also have an F and REVOKED BBB accreditation for similar complaints of not being paid. So when an authority tried to hold them accountable for paying for the reviews done, they ignored it. Says a lot about a company that can't handle ethical business and runs from accountability. They'd rather email the indivisible and try to belittle them and shift blame.
Then have 6 million accounts/users but also have no way of allowing users to delete their account as i tried to delete mine and it doesn't allow you. No telling how many are actually active.

They approved my review, published it and essentially have a 3 week wait period for payment. At the very end of that 3 weeks, on the 21st day to be exact, they rejected my review based on the subjective view of another reveiwer and closed my account when I brought up the issue so no payment for my review.
If you love reading, it's fun. Just don't count on that extra money as they can withhold it for any reason.

Cooperating with Onlinebooclub is not easy and does not fit everyone. But if you are serious, keep improving and never give up, especially in the beginning, when you need to understand how to operate; eventually, you can see some results. So far, I spent almost 2 months before seeing my first reward, but this is a sign of a Team that rewards only serious and committed people.

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but I just got paid for my first book review post for OnlineBookClub.org, and it was exactly what I expected and didn't take long at all, which was awesome. Now, let me be clear, I was only told to read the book (which was free) and give my 100% honest review on said book, and that was it.
I wasn't told to specifically write a good or bad review, just to be honest and follow the guidelines set forth by them, which was super simple to follow.
I'm very happy to have found this site and am now able to read books and get paid to do so right from the comfort of my own home, no strings attached. For a stay-at-home mother of 2 under 3years old, who loves to read, this makes a great side gig for me.

After I figured out how to get the second review up and running, everything went well.

I signed up to do this because I thought, I've got 2 master degrees, been an educator for over 25 years, I've read plenty of books, and written many research papers. I can write book reviews! But according to their standards. I was very wrong.
The book selections that they recommend are actually pretty decent. Beware that the criteria for book reviews is extremely stringent, and it is not as simple as it is stated on their platform. There will be a person who will review your review. If it does not meet that particular person's idea of what a review should be, it will be denied. You will be told to correct it to meet their standards. But even when you meet every one of the criteria, it will not be good enough unless you are a professional editor.

Today they banned me from the online book club. I wrote two reviews that were not accepted nor was I given any specific details of why it was not accepted other than it didn't meet their criteria. So I don't recommend anyone ever joining this unless you are a professional writer or a professional editor to where you have experienced doing writing reviews. Otherwise you're writing skills will not be up to par.

All I got from a year of reading and two reviews were several interesting titles I may read in the future but on my own dime.

It was surprisingly smooth yea i will admit i was scared it wouldn't work and it was a scam but then i i open my email and see i was paid i was shocked I tell u utterly surprised i recommended ppl immediately i love it

Onlinebookclub.org is a great place to find awesome books to read and because it's our purpose, to review the books thoroughly, it means i actually pay more attention to the story and every aspect of it. How is written, edited, does it have spoilers, is it suspenseful, etc etc. I completely pay more attention to the story as I'm reading than when i don't have to do a book report when I'm finished. I learn a lot more and for that in thankful!

It was a very interesting experience reading the book and relating with the characters
