I was nervous about ordering from this company given that they are part of onlineturf.co.uk who have received some pretty bad reviews!
However my experience was really good! I ordered some gravel at 12.30pm on the Wednesday and it was delivered at about 3pm the next day. My only grumble was that there was no communication prompted by them from placing the order (other than an automatic acknowledgement of the order) to it being delivered. I was expecting a call from the delivery team but they just turned up without notice.
Having said that, I did email them at lunchtime to check the order was on its way and received a very helpful and quick reply from Abbie who confirmed all was in hand.
The delivery guy was really helpful too. He manoeuvred his truck in such a creative way that meant he managed to get the gravel exactly where we wanted it which saved us hours of hard labour. He really did put himself out to be helpful.
I really want to give this company 5* but their lack of proactive communication has let them down.
However, I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family but would probably recommend paying for a morning or afternoon time slot so to avoid a whole day of waiting around.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Good quality gravel, good price, free next day delivery and helpful courteous staff.
