Many thanks for your feedback, Rod, whether positive or negative we appreciate all feedback, in order for us to continuously improve.

To address your points, the page you ordered the touch up paint from clearly states the following: ‘Please note, colours shown may not truly reflect the true colour of the paint and are used as a representation only. It is best to use the colour name, if you are unsure, please use the specialized website as above or contact our sales office.’ This not only goes for our website, but this also goes for any website depicting colour, as the variation of displays makes it nigh on impossible to truly reflect colours accurately to all.

Further to this we also provide a link to the Specialized Bikes website and suggest this is reviewed before ordering, so you can double check the colour of your bike and order the correct shade.

The match on the Blaze colourway is approved by Specialized, as are all of the shades on the site, I have double checked our QC retain here from the colour produced for you and it matches the Blaze standard very well; we have sold over one hundred touch ups of this specific colourway with minimal complaint on the shade thus far. We must also consider we are providing a touch up product and they are unlikely to match in every single instance due to factors such as the bikes age, condition, how much use its had; touch up products are never going to achieve a factory finish.

In regard to financial recourse, our returns policy and T & C’s clearly state colours mixed specifically for an order (which this is) are non-returnable and non-refundable; also products that have been used are non-returnable and non-refundable, you have accepted and agreed to these T & C’s, upon placing the order. As a business we operate honestly and morally and have done so since our inception over 18 years ago – we do not and have never operated in a ‘shady’ manner, this is a defamatory statement and wholly untrue.

Upon review of your comments and following an internal review of our site and our processes, in this instance I’m not sure what more we can do as a business to ensure the correct colour is ordered, the page provides ample information for you to make an informed decision, and we are always at the end of the phone/email/live chat if further assistance is needed. I don’t believe you have taken advantage of the various resources we have made available, so ultimately the responsibility to order the correct colour falls to you.
