NOTE : Signature Blue colour completely different to the website. It is a navy blue which I didn’t want. One table delivered damaged. Requested return but they charge £60 per item to send back. After 2-3 emails they have now agreed to refund total amount. I’ve been waiting nearly a month and I am now starting a chargeback process with my bank. Delivery and collection slots were both changed. Delivery date was changed the day before and the Collection of furniture postponed at O9.30am on the day!! very disappointed. However the delivery guys were very kind and polite.
Upon delivery one of our chairs was broken. Photos were taken by the delivery driver who advised us to keep the chair and it would be replaced. Upon receipt contacting customer services, who were very helpful, I was offered £60 compensation or a replacement chair with a delivery charge of £60! So in fact that would have meant the chair cost £180 not £120.
I didn’t feel I had much choice but to accept the broken chair and small compensation.
I would not deal with this company again which is a shame as we were pleased with the table and chairs just not the service.
Absolutely appalling experience with Only Oak Furniture – I would strongly urge anyone considering buying from them to think again.
My mother purchased a dresser top online and, as is common with large furniture, we paid for delivery that included bringing the item into the house and removing the packaging.
On delivery, we discovered the dresser top had around a dozen visible half-inch holes across the surface and large embedded light fittings—none of which were mentioned in the product description or shown in the photos. The item was clearly misdescribed and not what was expected.
We immediately requested a return, allowed for any reason within 14 days of an online purchase. However, their so-called “customer service” team refused, stating that the item could not be returned because we no longer had the original packaging—despite the fact that their own delivery team had taken it away as part of the service we paid for. In other words, we were denied a return for a reason entirely created by their own process.
When this was pointed out to them they agreed to collect it but only if we paid over £191. Charging a customer to return an item while also blocking the return due to packaging they removed themselves, is completely unreasonable and blatantly disregards basic UK consumer rights.
We are now escalating this matter to Trading Standards.
This company’s practices are extremely concerning. Customers should not be put in a position where they are prevented from exercising their legal right to return it.
Avoid at all costs.
I was going to do an order for over £500. It says 90% of delivery is free. Mine wasn't , and I don't live in an area that is difficult at all. it would have been £18 a least, so I decided not to order. I do object to paying a lot of money for something, then being charged so much on top for delivery. May have been excellent furniture as it has got good reviews, it's just my preference.
Awful, no communication after placing order. exceeded the time they said it would take. trying to cancel as have still not been contacted by their courier service but they want to charge me £60 cancellation fee!!

really wish I hadn't ordered with this company. Feel completely ripped off and let down when it is their fault! God knows what would happen if you had an issue with an item or wanted to return.
Once I decided on the units that I wanted, I shopped around online and found they were best value and reviews looked good. Ordered, and within a few days was able to book a one man delivery. Would have liked it to have been a bit sooner but happy that I had choice of days. On day of delivery received message regarding estimated delivery time and was able to track driver throughout day. Driver rang when he was 20 mins away. Delivery went smoothly although a bit concerned one of boxes was very wet. Found no damage though. However one of the units was badly damaged and contacted customer services. As requested sent them pictures. They offered a discount on price if we wanted to retain but we didn't. They quickly offered a replacement and delivery arranged as before. Very happy with my new furniture.
This company advertises as high quality. However my item arrived yesterday with a very visible flaw on the top of the drawers . The company are refusing to collect the drawers and replace with full refund. I am now having to contact citizens advice for help. Do not purchase from this company ….

Received scratched table leg and slight warp and split in wood on oak chest ., emailed company said because it’s natural., so we have sent pictures of all the oak we have in our property it’s full and nothing has warped or split ., will update review once got reply’s thanks scott

I ordered a “Cream Kitchen Island - Black Granite” on 16/04/2025 with 8-12 week delivery, no problems there.
It arrived right at the start of July so within the time stated, unfortunately when it arrived it had some large marks on the black granite counter which of course was very disappointing, however the customer service team were helpful and organised a replacement, this arrived early December.
The second black granite work top arrives, this one seems to be in good condition so we’re happy, the only annoyance is every time you remove a worktop you have to rescrew into the base of the wood island which is causing damage, a few weeks go by and we spill a glass of water on the counter, wipe and dry immediately, the next day to our horror everywhere where the water spilled has now marked and the granite counter is ruined yet again.
Contact customer support yet again and they were helpful and helped us rearrange for another counter but we decided as the black granite keeps marking so easily that we would like to change to the white marble effect (not ideal as it doesn’t go with our kitchen but what’s the point in getting another black granite one) customer service team helped us and it arrived on 6/01/26.
We open the brand new counter top on the 6th of Jan, just after the delivery team left and to our shock it is just a plain white counter, no marble affect at all, I’m sure you can understand at this point we were getting rather annoyed, contacted customer service and yet again they were helpful and apologised that there had been a big mistake it the making of a few of these marble effects and we were the unlucky ones that received a dodgy one, arranged for a new one immediately and now having to wait 8-12 more weeks for the replacement.
With all this in mind we were now very cross and we feel entitled to some compensation at a minimum, we spoke to the customer service team, the manager and on multiple occasions despite expressing how disappointed we are with the whole ordeal seeing as it will almost be a full year of us not receiving the correct item without faults, they were only willing to give us £150 “goodwill contribution” but no replacement marble effect counter or we get the replacement and receive no compensation at all.
My wife and I will never recommend Only Oak Furniture again unless the situation changes, to top it off we had a newborn baby in September so really could have done without all this hassle in such an important time in ours and our sons life.

We placed an order in April 2025 for 2 glass fronted bookcases the leadtime on Website was originally 8 - 12 weeks. We have had delay after delay & eventually was told our order was running smoothly & on schedule to be in UK by end of December 2025. End of December we chased again to then be told there was another 3 month delay. We have now cancelled our whole order in entirety & although received refund we will not be recommending Only Oak Furniture to anyone & will definitely not order from them again. We are very disgruntled & angry with the experience we had with them. They obviously have issues with their suppliers so be warned who are in China.

I would strongly advise others to avoid Only Oak Furniture.
I ordered a dining table which arrived incomplete, with the wrong combination of legs, making it impossible to assemble or inspect. I reported this immediately. The correct leg was only supplied nearly two weeks later, meaning the table could not be used or properly checked until then.
Once the table was finally assembled for the first time, a serious defect in the tabletop became immediately apparent — raised, swollen areas of veneer lifting along seams. This was reported promptly, at the first possible opportunity after assembly.
Despite this, the company repeatedly tried to rely on a 14-day reporting policy, even though their own delivery error prevented inspection within that period. Over time, the reasons for refusal shifted — from policy deadlines, to claims that assembly meant acceptance, to speculative suggestions of damage, and finally to classifying the issue as “wear and moisture exposure”.
An "independent" technician was sent, and the company relied on the report to refuse any remedy, even though the table was brand new and the defect appeared within days of first use. They have since confirmed they are not part of any Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, leaving no independent route to resolve the dispute.

Great Quality Oak bookshelves & Display cabinet, sturdy, good build quality, blemish free oak, I used the 'delivery to room of my choice' option, the two guys that arrived did so on time, and took time and effort to place the items where I wanted (even though they were heavy) and carefully unpackage them and remove all the packaging, and check I was happy with the items and that they were undamaged - a brilliant service

We purchased three tables and noticed on delivery than one was damaged. I contacted the company who were slow to respond and offer a replacement, they wanted to repair our new table. It took a full month for the replacement to arrive which it did this morning and it was also damaged. To make matters worse we had to have a full blown arguement with the driver who didnt want to wait whilst we inspected the table despite the fact that this was agreed prior by Only Oak Furniture.
