I purchased two onward tickets through this company, and after they took my money, the window came up saying that there was a problem with the airline and no reservation was made. I immediately emailed the company and they have not replied. My bank has informed me there is a pending refund. I have not had any reply from this site, will see if it happens.
We were charged for two tickets that we never received. When we tried to book the tickets the payment went through, but then an error message on the website of onwardflight.com was displayed, “something went wrong with booking the flights.”
I immediately reached out via email to clarify the issue. Ryan from customer service responded the same day, but only provided a link to a ticket I had purchased weeks earlier, unrelated to the current booking. I replied, explaining that the issue was with the recent booking, not the previous one.
After that they haven’t replied for weeks.
So we were charged for a service that was never delivered, and the company has never responded to any of my emails.
This service is so unreliable and their customer service is basically non existing as they don’t reply to emails and leave you in the dark. I would even call it a scam charging people for a service that you don’t deliver. Of course technical errors can happen but you have to pay back the money you’ve charged or at least reach out via email and inform the customer about the next steps.
So don’t be fooled by the pretty UI of the website. Everything behind that is unreliable and not trustworthy.
We ended up booking our onward tickets with a different provider which was also cheaper and we are still waiting for our money from onwardflight.com.
