Great experience, Colin and Blair are both very professional and knowledgeable. Great help talking through the tests and paperwork and making sure I was happy with the frames I picked out.

I recently made an enquiry about laser eye surgery. I was contacted by someone one from a centre in Glasgow. The took me through a very long, tedious and scripted questionnaire. This included a variety of pricing points. I repeatedly told him I wasn't interested in anything over the £595 per eye for laser surgery.

Since then I have made an appointment, completed another questionnaire and today had another call. In today's call they tell me I am not eligible for laser eye treatment because I am over 40 and have the start of a cataract. The minimum charge I was told would be is £3000 per eye!

Consequently, I have cancelled the appointment. What a colossal waste of time for everyone involved. I feel like I've been scammed and these are heavy-sell tactics where people end up paying much more than advertised.

They also now have a lot of my personal information and my bank details for their cancellation charge. So I'm also scammed out of sensitive information on false pretences.

These are all very poor practices.

Having just read the reply below, I have already sent this to customer services and received no reply. I have also requested confirmation that all my personal data has been deleted and that I won't be charged a cancellation fee. No reply. I've called, computer says "I don't know"

Went in for a laser eye surgery consultation. Really friendly staff, the building was nice and the process was relatively smooth.

I had a fantastic experience at Optical Express, thanks to my advisor, Abbie Drummond. She was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I felt comfortable, informed throughout the process, and explained the need of each test. She took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me, and her commitment to patient care really stood out. She is a real credit to the team, and I truly appreciated her support.

I went into the Optical Express today for a consultation on lazer eye surgery. My tentative enquiry was cemented into a firm decision to go ahead with the procedure purely due to the excellent service from Junaid and Kerry. They were both able to talk me through the process in a competent manner and I was confident enough to pay the deposit and book the procedure even though I had only started to look into the procedure. Excellent staff, I cannot recommend the Optical Express at the White Rose Centre Leeds enough!

So far I've had my initial consultation in Aberdeen for my laser eye surgery. They got me a date booked in within two weeks of my appointment for the surgery to be completed which is very quick!

Frank and Scott were the two staff members whom I saw and I genuinely can't fault either of them. They were both fantastic, so much patience and took all the time required to provide all information and reassurance needed. Genuinely such a fantastic staff team in Aberdeen! Thank you!

My experiance at the maidstone branch of Optical Express was very good. I received a warm welcome from the moment i arrived and all the advice i received left me no questions unanswered. The service was very professional every step of the way.

From my first consultation through to my successful treatment, the service from all the team at Optical Express Chelmsford was excellent. Deborah, the Patient Advisor, was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole process straightforward. Amrit, my Optometrist, was professional, thorough and gave me complete confidence throughout. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend the Chelmsford team.

Car parking on site. Great reception staff and surroundings. Cared for by the lovely Hana at the Bridgewater clinic Manchester. My optometrist was very informative about the procedure and it was undertaken very professionally and in a timely manner. All in all a top class service.

After using Optical express (Nottingham) 15years ago for laser eye surgery I have returned and undergone Lens replacement in both eyes , my experience 15 years ago was excellent in every way from the consultation , surgery and aftercare which is what made me return as I have full trust in OE in delivering the highest standard in vision correction surgery , the location has changed but the standard they are delivering has got even better , from the consultation with Elle , the surgery team and Mr Matthew’s to Stacey with the aftercare all working together to deliver a standard which is second to none , a massive Thank you to the whole team for a top class experience and for anyone thinking of having eye correction surgery with OE this review comes with the highest recommendation . Came into st enoch centre with my 4 year old for his 1st pair of glasses. Great service as always. Me and my 10 year old also come here for our glasses and my contacts. Always very friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience at the Paisley opticians today. From the moment I walked in, the staff Lisa and claire were so welcoming, friendly, and professional. The eye test with Carole was thorough, and she took the time to ensure i was comfortable and helped me as i use a walking stick.everything re the exam was explained clearly without making me feel rushed ,Afterwards choosing new glasses was a breeze with their helpful guidance,too many to choose from and was also a bit fun . Only down fall was there is no Air Conditioning and as it was a hot day It was sweltering in the shop however the staff seemed to take it in their stride .
