Absolutely terrible experience - avoid optima at all costs

If I could give Optima zero stars, I would. This is hands down the most unprofessional and inhumane property management company I have ever dealt with. From the moment we moved in, it was clear that they couldn't care less about their tenants.

Communication is practically non-existent. Emails and phone calls go unanswered, and if you're lucky enough to reach someone, they'll just give you the runaround. It's clear that Optima is only interested in collecting rent and fees and has no regard for the well-being or safety of their tenants.

To make matters worse, they have no problem nickel-and-diming you at every opportunity. Dealing with Optima has been a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs. They are the epitome of what a property management company should not be.

Terrible company! please stay way if you can

"I strongly advise exercising caution when dealing with this company. My experience has been overwhelmingly negative. The apartment management is unsatisfactory, with irregular common area cleaning and unresolved building maintenance issues, such as interphone repairs. Communication with the office staff is extremely frustrating, as calls often go unanswered, and responses to emails are rude. I have been waiting for the return of my deposit for four months, with no communication or response to my inquiries.

die only word for them is criminal

die only word for them is criminal ! they increase the cost with no reason, they don't answer at the phone ( after years I stopped to call) , they don't give back the money of the hausgeld. Less then a star is enough

Unprofessional and swindler like attitude

I also had really bad experiences (yes plural) with Optima.
- While leaving the building I wanted to find someone to rent my apartment right after I leave and I did but Optima told me that they had already agreed to lease the apartment to someone 2 months later which meant that I had to pay one-month extra rent.
- While I was living there, I complained about some laundry machines not working properly (had to redo my clothes a couple of times) but instead of trying to fix the issue, they asked me to contact the laundry company myself as if I would know whom they had the contract with.
- It's been close to 6 months since I vacated my apartment and I still haven't received my security deposit and the difference for the electricity, water, heating bills. I have already tried to contact them twice.

I'd highly recommend you to stay away from dealing with Optima.
