Unusable products.
As a small business I write this with frustration. I ordered 50 mugs and 35% were unusable or not re-sellable (this is due to cosmetic/physical issues made to the mokken during production). I contacted the supplier (OrangeSmile.nl) expressing my disappointment and warning of the problem/danger these mokken could cause to people using them, as there were sharp edges and fractures to the fabric. All I received in response was “you should have ordered a sample”, consider that you only receive one mok in a sample order, how can you predict these defects? They did offered a discount, but the amount only depended on how much money I was going to spend with them next time. There won’t be a next time. these mokken you have supplied have cost me, not in money but in credibility. Be careful shoppers, you might as well take a chance on Temu.
My response to the companies reply: I sent photos of the already damaged mokken. I can't say anymore,
this is purely hearsay on OrangeSmiles part. While they mention it, the mokken were also not fine to print on and very difficult with little to no instruction. The problem I contacted with was the damage and hazard of these specific mokken and there are photos to prove it. It is true that I contacted them 2 months after my order. As I am still building my small business and make my products to order, I do not go through 50 of these enamel mugs in a month. After finding 2 mugs with sharp hazards, I checked more and in total I had 10 problematic mugs. It was a big loss at the time and I regret to say there was little to no compassion from the supplier (OrangeSmile). I was offered discount of no specification, depending on how much money I spent with them again... lacks compassion and good gesture to me.
