BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE!!! This company is run by a grifter named Mark Reissi. He ran a Kickstarter campaign over 5 years ago for this pillow and never delivered but still occasionally sends backers e-mails trying to extort additional shipping charges.
These pillows are short for us and they…
These pillows are short for us and they are not much different from ordinary pillows and the price of the pillow is very high compared to its quality. I really regret cutting them.
Basically a scam
Like many others, I backed Oreous on kickstarter in 2017. Purchased 2 pillows plus extras, plus postage. I have received nothing, not even an email saying sorry. I have then recently started getting promotional emails from the Oreous company. I have emailed this company several times reminding them that they still owe me what I have purchased. No response. I would strongly advise people to stay clear of this company and their dodge sale tactics.
SCAMMERS since 2017
SCAMMERS
They took my money during the presale and they never send ANYTHING. Nothing. No response to emails. They don't give a refund.
Absolute insane scammers. Never ever buy this. Every review that says otherwise is a fake review!! Don't fall for it, you will never get anything.
They never deliver they just took my…
They never deliver they just took my money and run. They never respond to emails or any other way of communication
Men of their word... and the pillow rocks
They took a while to deliver their KS project, but I give them credit. 99% of creators would have given up... but they didn't. I might add that the pillow is amazing. High quality, feels amazing, and I am sleeping better than ever before.
Never received anything.
Backed the Campaign on Kickstarter.
Now 3 Years later they want an extra 60$, for shipping my paid pillow!
Not recommendable

Oreous;Beaten to the finish line by everyone!
I backed the kickstart project in 2017, bought 2 pillows and two addition filler packs and shipping. The project stalled almost failed and in the mean time a multitude of companies have bought out the same sort of pillows that work very well and at a much better price point, so Oreous had lost me. Years later, December 2020 .... I get an email telling me if I want the pillows it will cost me another $71 shipping and too bad but if I want the filler packs I will have to pay for them a second time. I opted to buy pay for the shipping again just out of curiosity, I can’t recommend the pillows because they are too flat for either of us and I have invested way too much already to buy filler a second time. When one of the other pillow companies selling the same product come on sale I will consider buying one of their pillows and topping ours up with them. Nicely made and fancy packaging but too little, too late and FAR TOO expensive considering the successful competitors.
SCAM! SCAM!
SCAM!! And not just the first crowdfunding campaign, also the new website / company where you can get your pillows with a coupon code, but have to pay exorbitant prices for shipping and will most probably never receive the items. AVOID. SCAM.
The worst company
I backed this product on kickstarter back in 2017.
No pillows to date, despite multiple updates claiming that they are finally fulfilling their orders.
In total I was asked to pay freight three times, in addition to the freight charges included in the pledge.
Last month I received a coupon for their new website, oreous.com, which they claim is a new company.
The coupon was valid for four days and did not include freight.
Since I read the e-mail five days late, I contacted oreous.com to reactivate the coupon and asked them to waive the freight.
They reactivated the coupon but insisted on applying $100 of freight.
I have since asked for a refund, which they refuse on grounds that they are a different company than the one I made a purchase agreement with.
They have since stopped responding to my e-mails.
For anyone looking at this product, please consider this a friendly FYI from a disappointed backer.
Oreous is a scam
Oreous is a scam. Their Kickstarter campaign raised $327K and a similar one on Indiegogo.com raised $374K. Don’t be fooled by the amount of money raised. Most backers never received anything and were unable to get a refund. Don’t give them your money.
Please don’t take my word for it. Do you own research. Check out the comments on their Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns and you’ll find hundreds (if not thousands) of unhappy backers who never received their pillow(s) and often have numerous additional complaints. Look for Oreous on other review sites and you’ll find similar complaints to what’s posted here.
From the beginning of the Kickstarter campaign, Oreous offered a full refund if they failed to meet their shipping date of July 2017 (as I write this, it’s December 2020). At first, they offered plausible explanations for the delay and continued to promise shipment in the near future. After several months of excuses, I decided that I’d given them ample time to meet their obligations and requested a refund. I never received a response despite submitting multiple requests via different methods (e.g. on Kickstarter, on Facebook, direct e-mail, et cetera). I ultimately disputed the charges with my credit card company. I was lucky. I got my money back.
Oreous sends updates every few months that typically fit into one of three categories: 1. They offer some excuse and state that fulfillment will begin soon; 2. They state that fulfillment is nearly complete implying that they have thousands of happy customers; or 3. They offer some excuse and ask for additional funds to cover shipping. Oreous seems to be particularly fond of extorting backers with additional shipping charges. Over the course of three years the total shipping charge has exceeded the price of the pillow for many backers.
Scammed us on Indiegogo
We on Kickstarter and Indiegogo funded the creation of this company. Our reward, being asked for an additional $80 for shipping! Shipping was included in Indiegogo pledge. I'm hearing people has not received when ordering from their website. Smells like a scam...
Fraud on kickstarter
Fraud on kickstarter, never deliver and asked 3 times for "extra shipping cost"
Fraudulent scammers who don't deliver!
Honestly, one star is too much for this scam of a company. Like many others, they took my money through Kickstarter well over three years ago, but there has been no delivery of what I paid for. They never responded to a single one of my emails either. Very occasionally, they would post an update offering everyone false hope, and then just string us along for another few months or years.
Dishonest, fraudulent, shameful company! Take your business elsewhere.... Honestly, anywhere else.
The last update I received gave me a voucher to buy a pillow from a different website, and then they tried to charge me roughly $70 to ship to my country! Even though I'd already paid delivery through Kickstarter. Together, both delivery costs amounted to more than the pillow was worth!
I cannot warn you enough, do not support this company.
Complete scam
Complete scam, do not order anything from them. Never. Been waiting for the product from Kickstarter for more than three years. No communication, just a new scheme to get even more money from backers. Company does not deliver, just takes your money and runs, terrible. Please stay away from them!
