Original Cottages Reviews

Easy, simple. Always great properties. Use them a lot .never had a bad place. Always top notch. Info is always there. No fuss. Also easy to get a dog friendly place.

No problems at all

Good value for money. Great location and very comfortable.

Kept in touch by Email a few times before holiday to keep us updated.

Original cottages have got this booking thing sewn up - it's so easy to do. A few more replies to emails would be appreciated as we only seemed to get the standard ones and no personal ones when we asked questions, so we had to guess some things, but other than that, it's an easy process. Handel House in Tideswell is beautiful and we thoroughly recommend it!

We had a lovely 4 day break at the old sweet shop which had everything we needed and would highly recommend. The location was great with the beach, shops and restaurants all
Within 5-10 minutes walk. The enclosed garden was great for our dog!

Fantastic communication with useful emails and information.

Holiday cottage was clean and tidy and in a great position to access the coast and fantastic scenery. Quiet country lane was a plus, as was watching the village cricket over the back wall!

Had to change the week I had originally booked and this was handled really quickly and efficiently. Admin fee charged to change the dates was reasonable and all communication up to our holiday date was great. Would happily use this company again.

Lovely cottage great location

The cottage was very clean and comfortable except for the moth problem, over all it was a very good.

Loved the area. Apart from the view and water sports there is very little to do in the village but other villages and points of interest are very accessible. The accommodation is functional and clean.

Easy to book and process. Fully informed of everything as departure date gets nearer with clear instructions.

First time we used this Company.
Communication was excellent before travelling. Property was as described. Lots of info and photos on website.
Accomodation was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and equipped. Good parking and beautiful peaceful garden.

Fantastic cottage with everything we needed. We had a great weekend and I would always recommend!

One of the nicest, best equipped properties we have stayed in. Light & airy, very spacious and immaculately clean. Quiet surroundings, 10 min walk to the beach. Highly recommended. Only niggle is that the driveway/parking plot is very narrow and quite difficult to get in and out of if you have an SUV.

The farmhouse was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the site where the farmhouse was located was beautiful kept (had every amenity) beautiful beach 10 mintute walk away had a fantastic holiday

Original cottages booking website was very easy to use. Booking was completed easily with no complications. Email reminders were useful and helped get us excited for our getaway!

Very easy to book and great communication throughout. Have already booked again for next year.

33 Quayside is a very pleasant place to stay, spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. It’s well set up for a self-catering holiday, but is also situated very close to amenities. Its sun-catching, sea-facing balcony is a relaxing place, and there’s only a short walk to the beach. Secure off-road parking with a nearby lift to the apartment makes coming and going simple.
Original Cottages were easy to deal with - their informative website enabled us to make a good choice, and all communication after the initial booking was clear and timely.
