Bought and paid for a watch from Chrono24, they never communicate properly then said it had been sold. Luckily got refund from chrono 24. Don’t trust.

I discovered orologeria bodoni, an alleged "Trusted Seller", on Chrono24.
I ordered a Breitling Navitimer and wired a down payment in january the 26th.
The watch was supposed to be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.
In fact the watch has never been ready to ship.

I always had to email (or call) them to inquiry about the delivery status of the watch. They never took the initiative to inform me (a 6K euros watch customer) about the successive delivery delays ! Can you beleive it ?

Their replies to my emails:
Reply # 1
--we inform you that the watch is going to arrive. As it will be able in our shop, we will contact you immediately. (so helpful right ?)

Reply # 2
-we inform you that Breitling confirmed your order (one has to know they are not a Breitling AD !). We are waiting for the watch, as it will be available in our shop we will contact you immediately for the shipping. (again, very helpful reply)

Reply # 3 : one month after I have ordered the watch...
-I confirm the watch will be ready to ship within 20/25 working days.
(yes you read that right: 20 to 25 more working days to go)

Reply # 4 : two months after I have ordered the watch
-we inform you that we are waiting for your watch. it will arrive in the next 15 days.

Blah blah blah...

Two weeks later (2 and a half month after I wired the money), I finally realized that they would never get the watch they sold me and cancelled my order.

They simply wasted my time, and after that, beleive it or not, it took them more than a week to refund me !
I had to beg for my money every couple days and finally asked Chrono24 support for assistance !

Now you know how these alleged "Trusted sellers" create unfair competition against other sellers with unbeatable deals that they never honor and worst ... simply fool you !

Advice to Chrono24: be more cautious before giving away maintaining your "Trusted Seller" label to this kind of sellers , because all this was an awfull buying experience to me.

J'ai découvert orologeria bodoni, un prétendu "Vendeur de Confiance", sur Chrono24.
J'ai commandé une Breitling Navitimer et effectué un virement bancaire pour acompte le 26 janvier.
La montre était supposée être prête à la livraison dans les 2 à 3 semaines suivantes.
En fait la montre n'a jamais été prête à être livrée !.

Il a toujours fallu que je les contacte pour leur demander quand la montre allait pouvoir être livrée. Jamais ils n'ont pris l'initiative de me contacter (un client à 6K euros quand même) pour me faire part de leurs délais de livraison successifs ! Est ce que ce n'est pas incroyable ?

--nous vous informons que la montre va bientôt arriver. Dès que nous l'aurons en boutique, nous vous contacterons immédiatement.(réponse très "utile" pas vrai ?)

Réponse 2
-nous vous informons que Breitling a confirmé votre commande (mon oeil, ils ne sont pas distributeur agréé Breitling). Nous attendons la montre, dès qu'elle sera disponible en boutique nous vous contacterons immédiatement pour la livraison.(encore une fois, une réponse utile !?)

Réponse 3 : Un mois après avoir payé l'acompte pour la montre...
-je vous confirme que la montre sera prête à l'expédition d'ici 20 à 25 jours ouvrables.
(oui vous avez bien lu: 20 à 25 jours ouvrés supplémentaires à attendre)

Réponse 4 : deux mois après le paiement de l'acompte
-nous vous informons que nous attendons la montre. elle va arriver dans les 15 prochains jours.

Bla bla bla...

Deux semaines plus tard (soit 2 mois et demi après mon transfert bancaire), j'ai enfin réalisé qu'ils n'arriveront jamais à avoir la montre qu'ils m'ont vendue et j'ai annulé ma commande.

Ils m'ont allègrement fait perdre mon temps, et après ça, croyez le ou non, ça leur a pris plus d'une semaine pour me rembourser !
Il aura fallu que je réclame mon remboursement tous les deux jours et que finalement je demande au support de Chrono24 d'intervenir !

Maintenant vous savez comment ce genre de "vendeurs de confiance" créent une concurrence déloyale vis à vis des autres vendeurs avec des offres imbattables qu'ils n'honorent jamais ! et surtout vous roulent dans la farine.

Un bon conseil à Chrono24: soyez plus prudent avant de donner ou conserver votre label "Vendeur de Confiance" à un revendeur car j'ai vécu une expérience d'achat pour le moins catastrophique !

I found them through chrono 24. I try to buy a watch 2 times from them. Failed both times... Hopefully chrono24 returned my money.
These guys wasted my time. When I called them, they were rude and not able to communicate in English.

I ordered a Cartier Ballon Bleu watch early November with Orologeria Bodoni and paid with trusted check-out (Chrono 24). Orologeria Bodoni promised to ship the watch before Christmas. I never got any update from them about the state of delivery. My mails to them remained unanswered, unless I called or involved the mediation service from Chrono 24. Each time a different person replied on the phone or by mail, who promised to keep me up to date, which they didn't do. Obviously, I didn't get the watch for Christmas, but was not even informed by them, only when I called and sent e-mails to check the whereabouts. I cancelled the order eventually by end of January, whereby I had received little more than lame excuses and no information. I was very disappointed about this extremely bad service, unfriendly over the phone and brusque by e-mail, if they replied at all, in bad English. I will certainly not deal with them again.

I have found my Tudor Black Bay Blue in this shop, very good price, paid online and received in 2 days in a protective box... Wahou !
Excellent communication with the seller, Giancarlo. Will buy again (hope soon...:) in this shop !
