Replacement Cockpit Rib
I received a new cockpit rib that is thicker than previous. Thus, I need longer spacers for the screws. It would help to have these provided with an explanation. I struggled with getting parts to come together until I discovered this problem causing screws to hang up on the cockpit rib.
Shipping is costly for a part that fits easily into a padded envelope. It cost as much as the cockpit rib.

I bought my ORU kayak last year, so have no idea why you think I just purchased one. Also, I just received an e-mail stating seam channels are on the way. I didn't order them. Order #8215.

While checking the tracking I noticed there was no activity after four days of ordering. I contacted Oru and they responded. Apologizing because they had to do some restocking of replacement parts before shipping out my order but that would be done this very day. I received my order five days later as promised.

Took a while to get the item from the date I ordered it - not a major issue as I did not need it right away. (Seat Cushion for the Kayak). The real issue is the size of the packaging for such a small seat cushion - came in a huge oversized box which was a total waste and far too large of a footprint for such a small item. I took photos of the product and the packaging if anyone is interested to see what I am talking about - would be glad to send if needed.

We ordered 2 kayaks on May 18th for a trip we are taking on June 24th. One kayak arrived promptly when expected, but we are still waiting on the other one. Many emails back and forth, many phone calls with customer service, and more than a month later the kayak still has not even been shipped, even though we were promised it would arrive in time for our trip. I called last week and was told that it would ship this Monday or Tuesday, which it did not. Very disappointed with the fact that Oru continued to mislead us about when the kayak would be sent to us, and now we are about to leave on our trip with only the one kayak.
