Mr. Savo was very rude demeaning and as a American when you return a good landed cost takes up most of your return so it makes no sense. Product arrived damaged and scratched.

Stefano was very helpful , although he did not have the model I wanted he was able to get it for me the next day and ship it right away .

Products variety, quality, excellent delivery

Stafano at Ottica Savo in Rome is an absolute hero and they stock a lot of unique and hard to find eyewear. I don’t usually go to the effort of leaving reviews but knowing people might be in the same boat as me I wanted to give some reassurance and also acknowledge and praise the amazing service I received. I was after some limited edition glasses from a particular designer (JF Rey Merci Japon) but no where in England sold them and although a number of international online stores came up during my search, they were either out of stock or had some negative reviews. When I came across Ottica Savo, they had a handful of excellent Google reviews so I called them and turns out they’re a proper shop in the centre of Rome and they had a pair of the glasses I wanted, of which only 380 were ever made. From there I started an email dialogue asking lots of questions about shipping and taxes under the new EU regulations and Stafano couldn’t have been more helpful. Although part of me was still a little nervous, I went ahead and bought them. Soon after I was getting reassuring DHL updates to say my parcel was on its way and 3 days later they arrived at my door. Afterwards he managed to get me an extra pair of sunglass clips in a different colour from the supplier and I took the opportunity to buy another pair of glasses (Sabine B Gipsy) which both came just as quickly. I’m now considering a 3rd pair but don’t know how I’ll explain the expense to my wife. Either way I am now a lifetime customer of Ottica Savo and look forward to visiting Rome one day, visiting the shop and greeting Stafano as that English guy he helped. If you’re reading this I expect you are also a purveyor of great eyewear and you can be confident of a great service from Stefano.
