Only works with apple products
Only works with apple products. They say andriod supported but thats a lie. Support is useless as they dont know there products. Just refer to online video when ask for help. Constantly want video proof of issue, and want to send the videos through a non secure app. Sent info and no action. If you have a andriod and see this device. Don't waste your money and keep looking.
Wasted $300, and my cheap $30 works better then thier over price garbage.

Purchased Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 for use in 2024 Volvo XC60. Very easy to install, connected easily, audio is good, minimal dropouts.

Set up is super easy and connecting 2 phones allow us to connect to CarPlay just by getting into the car. Our Volvo does not allow the maps navigation to above the steering wheel as I believe some of the later Volvo's allow. Wish there was an upgrade for that.

I bought the Ottocast Pro 3 AI and cannot figure it out. It came with no instructions. It shows up on my screen as a connected device, but that is it. Nothing else shows up.

The cord is better.
It’s a quick connection. Audio does lag which you only notice if watching videos or when skipping songs. Also, not great when trying to talk on the phone. Not as good as using the cord to connect to Apple car play.

This is the first of these devices…It actually works
This is the first of these devices including the Ottocast 2 that has worked fully integrated with my 2024 Volvo XC90. I am able to see the maps in the dash as well as on the right hand screen with full functionality as advertised!

Waste of time, no support
The U2 Air Edge doesn't work well with my car and phone. It frequently drops connection and won't work again until the Bluetooth connection is deleted and re-paired.
Attempting to get assistance or a return shipping label from the company's AI-driven support is impossible. The email bot will offer a refund and then loop back around to the same pointless troubleshooting steps previously attempted.

Really Cool Product and Great Customer Service!
I absolutely love my Ottocast! Being able to see a live video feed of my baby right on my car’s screen is such a cool feature, and it’s honestly one of my favorite things about the device.
There are a couple of downsides. The device requires two USB ports, which means I can’t charge my phone at the same time because both ports in my car are occupied. It also requires a USB-A connection (the older, rectangular USB port), which limits compatibility with newer vehicles that only have USB-C ports. I actually purchased a USB-A to USB-C adapter hoping to get around this issue, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. This makes it frustrating that I can’t easily use the device in other vehicles. Especially when traveling and using rental vehicles. I brought it all the way on a plane to use and couldn't use it in the rentals.
Unfortunately, my device stopped working, but I reached out to customer service, and they agreed to send me a replacement. I really appreciate a company that stands behind its products and makes things right when something goes wrong.
Despite those inconveniences, I think it’s a really neat product, especially for parents who want to keep an eye on their little ones while driving. I’m looking forward to receiving my replacement and using it again!

Product is fine but has frequent disconnects and after 10 minutes of use it is extremely hot to touch. Would rather use a cable.

It's ok. Slower to respond to inputs (such as skipping to the next song), and there is a noticible reduction in graphics quality on Google Maps and Spotify. I will keep using it, but would not buy it again.
