Still not compensated for last minute cancelle stay
I have documented my booking with our habitas on trustpilot (see previous comments) and chased the Manager of the resort for some compensation as following the hotel’s last minute cancellation of our booking we had twelve hours to come up with an alternative. There were no other desert hotels in Qatar so we flew to Muscat which meant paying for two flights and two Omani visas; I feel at a minimum Our Habitas should cover these costs. If I had cancelled our room with no notice I would have forfeited my money!
The Manager Mr Mohammed Wazir did email and promised to get back to me regarding compensation needless to say I have heard nothing further. I have emailed this gentleman twice since our return and he refuses to respond.
I would suggest you never book anything with Our Habitas they took our booking and money then cancelled last minute leaving us in the lurch; so far they have refused to compensate us for their cancellation. This is out of order and whilst the hotel refunded our room rate we incurred 2 x £179 flights and two visas at £79 for Oman.
