Guided work with supplemental resources is helpful

The videos are digestible time lengths, and are easy to follow and understand. The sessions are short, but my expert makes the most of them. It truly feels like he is listening and makes mindful recommendations for work in between sessions.

It has been very helpfull to understand myself. It also helped me communicate with my partner. I was able to understand him and also tell him my needs and wants.

My therapist was okay. Other than showing up looking soaking wet (water literally dripping from their hair), he seemed to listen and understand. I actually liked the pathways, which is why I signed up. I went to a session and decided I would like to be in person so I canceled. Cancellation was bugging, so I had to find an alternate way to do it. This was WELL BEFORE 14 DAYS! I was told I am not getting the refund anyways. I cancelled within the time frame, met with my expert, and did everything I was supposed to. On top of that, they charge a $30 cancellation fee. This company preys on vulnerability and takes advantage of people going through a difficult time. Now, not only am I having marital issues but I am $150 down the drain for NOTHING!

OurRitual has been a great resource for me and my husband, supporting us in building resilience in the face of some stressful family situations, and also working through old triggers. We were paired up with an amazing therapist, who is a great fit for us, who lives across the world but whom we really love. The technology side has been a little clunky; we’ve run into a few issues with the online application. But overall, I think this is a good deal and super helpful.

I would RUN, not walk away from getting financially entangled with this “company.”.

First off they have no respect for privacy (they automatically record your zoom sessions) - if you don't remember to tell them to stop they will happily continue recording you while you spill your guts to a complete stranger. Their program is “lazy” and designed so you spend time watching pre-recorded videos on their app 80% of the time and then they give you a paltry 40 minutes per week with a person (which is not enough time for couples therapy) where they just want to talk about the pre-recorded videos (because that is scalable) you were supposed to watch…all for $300+ per month smdh…

Their 14 day money back guarantee is complete BS - I contacted them on the 13th day saying I would like to take advantage of their offer. "Karl" who was extremely cold, litigious and rude responded 9 days later with a long and very legal explanation of why I actually don't qualify for this refund because I did X and I was supposed to do Y. He also made sure to throw this line in for good measure "We want to clarify that the delay in our response is not a factor."

Predatory subscription practices (if you are offering an above board service that contains value no one should leave and the ones that do you should have no problem refunding so you can learn to stop making people leave) and not a viable alternative to a real therapist. I'm pretty sure that the people we talked to weren't even licensed, recording people during therapy sessions is such a violation of privacy and trust. I am truly shocked there. The customer service is likely outsourced to people who actually don't care, their technology is described as finicky at best. It's extremely confusing to use their app if you can figure out how to use it, you will get trapped inside of videos having to kill the app in order to leave.

We’ve tried therapy, relationship books, communication workshops you name it. But the biggest issue was always the same: we just couldn’t keep up. Between work, kids, and everything else, scheduling a weekly session with a therapist started to feel like just another stressor which the whole idea was for therapy to be our escape.

That’s why OurRitual clicked for us. It’s the first thing we’ve used that actually fits into our life instead of demanding more from it. The sessions are guided and structured, but long enough that we can do one after the kids go to bed or even on a lazy Sunday morning. No pressure, no rushing to make it to an appointment. And even though it’s flexible, it still feels intentional. The conversations we’ve had have been more honest and productive than a lot of our in person therapy. It gives you the tools to really show up for each other even if you’re exhausted or short on time.

It’s not just convenient, it’s effective. We’re not just fitting it in we’re looking forward to it. That’s a big shift for us.

We downloaded OurRitual because it was affordable and we figured, why not? But it honestly delivered way beyond our expectations. The sessions were deep, thoughtful and most importantly totally doable even on busy weeks. We ended up having some of our most honest conversations ever.

It’s one of the few things we’ve both agreed is actually worth the time and money and just overall one of the best finds for us as a couple.

The price shown is only for 20-minute sessions, but 20 minutes is hardly enough — that’s not real therapy

I’ve tried couples therapy more than once, across different stages of my relationship. Some of it helped, some didn’t stick. What stood out about OurRitual was how natural and non intimidating it felt. It doesn’t come off like it’s trying to be therapy it just creates a space for meaningful conversations to happen, without all the pressure or formality and the specialist are amazing.

The structure is honestly spot on. The sessions guide you into the kinds of topics we usually want to talk about but never make time for things like values, emotional habits, how we handle conflict, and what we actually want from each other long term. But the way it’s presented makes it feel doable, even after a long day.

I started using OurRitual on my own since my partner wasn’t ready to join. At first I wasn’t sure how much it would help solo but the sessions were way more impactful than I expected. It didn’t feel like traditional therapy in a good way. It was more flexible and way less intimidating. I started showing up differently, with more patience and clarity and honestly, my partner noticed. Eventually, he got curious enough to join me.
If you’re in that place where you feel like you’re the only one trying, this can still be a powerful place to start. It definitely was for me.

I do not recommend this platform because of our experience/they do not give refunds even after you canceled your subscription well ahead of time! I fought with them for months and they stood very firm in not returning my money...

We kept giving this a chance, but it had a very cult-like feeling. Its really like a scam honestly...they do not offer what they say they do

I have studied psychology and I can assure you, this is not real therapy. Stay far away from this platform and go dig and read other reviews! We were not alone!
