Owners Direct 

We have used Owners Direct now for a number of years, delighted with the quality of service and properties on offer. No hesitation in giving 5 stars.

Very easy to access site and view properties. Booking was easy and quick response received. Would recommend the company.

Booked a lodge to then have the owner decline my booking even though the calendar showed availability. First I was told to book thro' another site as the fees were so high on this site. When I tried to book on the site suggested I was refused again. Awful service - this booking site should monitor their advertisers.

*Edit - there was availability but the owner obviously didn't want a 3 day booking or to pay the high fees charged by this site.

Easy to use web site and booking was also very easy.

I've used this website for years and so far I have never had a problem. This year we're returning to a villa we've stayed at before and hopefully will stay again next year!

I found Owners Direct an easy website with lots of choices for accommodation.
It explained the accommodation well and it was really easy to book once we had chosen.
Lots of photos helped us make our choice.

The shares on the US stock market for Expedia (parent company for Owners Direct) have plummeted in the last 2 quarters which is a reflection of the extremely poor business model employed by Owners Direct. This was endorsed by many hundreds of complaints posted below by property owners, managers and travellers who are distraught with Owners Direct.

In the last few weeks there has been an avalanche of '5' star reviews posted on Trustpilot which are in stark contrast to the many hundreds of '1' star reviews and complaints about Owners Direct posted in the preceding two years. This pattern seems abnormal and warrants an investigation. I amongst others, registered a concern with the Trustpilot Compliance office but to date, to no avail.

I hope Trustpilot will investigate this abnormal pattern as it is surely in their own interest to do so. Many will agree that Trustpilot will be rendered 'useless' and 'pointless' if their users have concerns about some of the reviews being posted.

At their own considerable expense, Expedia ventured into the European villa market and to date, have clearly failed. Would you feel comfortable allowing this company to hold on to your holiday accommodation fund for any sustained period of time?????

The range of properties is excellent and the booking process straightforward. Prices are clear with no hidden extras. Communication through the site with the owner excellent. Clear information for arrival and departure and directions. Excellent booking experience

I have always used Owners Direct to find holiday accommodation and have never been disappointed with my choices. Owners Direct obviously do their researches very well. I have used Owners Direct for many years probably in excess of 15 years, keep up the good work. Website is very easy to navigate with clear information.

The description was accurate, the booking process simple would happily use again.

The apartment had wonderful views over the port and out to sea. It was warm - we were there over Christmas - and well-equipped with modern appliances.
