If I could give this lot zero stars then I would.
I purchased a pain pen from them for my daughter's Jeep. Having finally arrived, I tried to remove the plastic cap in order to use the paint nib (rather than the brush) and the body of the pen split from the collar/cap resulting in the paint spilling everywhere. Contact with the company elicited the response that I obviously pulled the cap incorrectly. According to reviews on Trustpilot, I am not the first to suffer this exact product failure so clearly the product is not of any kind of robust quality. Avoid these crooks and spend your money elsewhere!

Wanted a custom colour and got exactly what I wanted! Excellent customer service as asked several questions and got some helpful advice, as my use wasn’t for painting a car, more domestic. Great experience, which is rare nowadays! I did order a smaller spray sample before the largest tin, just to be sure. SPOT ON! Ferrari Viola Hong Kong 0167, lovely colour will now be on my front door and bannister!

Bought a set of touch up pens from PaintNuts after a small scrape.
The touch up was a noticeably different colour even after waiting to apply in dry weather, and following instructions exactly. My car is also new so differences are likely not due to the car fading.
Customer service was quite responsive and asked me to jump through some (reasonable enough) hoops involving photos and a test card before sending a replacement set, but the replacement bottle's colour appears the same and continued to be noticeably different.
I requested a refund - the website heavily touts their colour match guarantee - but was told that the colour difference was due to the primer showing through. I was asked to apply yet another coat. I'm not willing to continue expanding the discoloured area and said as such.
I haven't had a response since, so am leaving this review to warn other possible buyers. You might be lucky but if not don't expect the colour match guarantee to be honoured.
It is a bit of a shame as customer service has been responsive and polite, but for me the product simply isn't good and I have spent several weeks trying to get this resolved.
Edit: Caroline has sorted out a full refund so I'm upgrading my rating. Although the colour doesn't match, I at least have a protective patch of paint now, and am not out of pocket.

A friend recommended paintnuts and said it work well for his car . So I ordered 1 x PaintNuts Colour Matched Touch Up Aerosol for @ £20.99 from recommended after typing in vehicle reg .
Same day it arrived i followed instructions and used on my car.
By the next day i had white patches all over where i had sprayed for a black car this stands outs almost like the car is damaged.
I reached out and was told
Thank you for sending the pictures.
As your paint code has quite a lot of metallic in the formulation it can settle to the bottom and separate in transit.
Please try the following:
Turn the aerosol upside down for 60 minutes then shake for at least 5 minutes, following this test on white paper (thin coat of paint) - once dried check the shade.
Ensure that the paint is a consistent colour from top to bottom.
If it is still not correct, please send me an image of the test next to the vehicle so we can see the difference.
I have now done this and yet to hear a response hopefully they reach out soon and can help me come to a solution for this because im not impressed at all.

I found “paint nuts” to be a very professional and very informative company they supplied me with touch up paint for my car and for days before the paint arrived they e mailed me every day explaining exactly what stage of the paint mixing and then the delivery process they were at . I haven’t tried the paint on my car yet wanting to wait for the better weather but I have tested the colour match on various scrap materials and it looks spot on to me so Thankyou ! “Paint Nuts” Good job well done .

Very good service and product. Matched to original paintwork well. Was expecting a brush rather than a metal tip, but finish still good.

I haven't actually used the product yet due to the adverse weather but i'm sure it's going to be fine.

Ordered the paint. But the paint couldn't be supplied. No explanation why.
Fair play, they returned the money promptly.

Still not received anything. Unfortunately this place had lots of negative reviews which I wish I hadn't ignored. Now looking a a way I could get my money back.

Good communication, arrived a day later than the date window stated so knocked down one point due to this. Otherwise pleased with my purchase, unable to check the colour match at this time due to bad weather but looks similar/same as vehicle
The colour is a perfect match!!!

I purchased some Paint Aerosol (to match my car colour), Primer, Lacquer & Spray Wipe from Paint Nuts to paint my car bumpers. After I applied the primer, I applied the spray wipe as per instructions but it lifted the primer off. So I purchased more primer. I then found that some of paint aerosol spray cans didn't spray consistently & were clogged, I overcame this issue by purchasing more paint aerosol spray cans. I applied the paint & lacquer indoors in a heated room. But I was left with a matt rather than metallic finish that did not match my car. The final straw is the paint is now even wearing off in patches. Along the way I also had two delivery problems, whereby my orders did not include all products as expected. I even had to collect part of the order from the delivery depot as they did not deliver next day which they had promised. After trying to reach an amicable solution with the Paint Nuts team, I eventually just asked for a refund because it was clear their products weren't of sufficient quality.
The response I got from PaintNuts gave an excuse that the paint had 'bloomed' due to low temperature (which I refute & sought a professional 2nd opinion that collaborated me). They declined my refund request by sending an extremely poor quality photo of a test spray of this paint on a piece of card to claim there was no issue with their paint. This proved nothing as the photo wasn't clear & had nothing to compare the paint too. They also changed the goalposts by saying I shouldn't have applied spray wipe after primer (which was different to their original instructions). They didn't even provide a response to the clogged aerosol cans issue or the fact that the paint is now wearing off. I challenged this response, but they never came back to me since.
Overall as a consumer I'm left with a bad outcome, £215 lost & my time wasted.
I recently ordered a repair kit to address some scratches. Their website claimed it could match the color based on my registration details. The kit arrived on January 2nd, but it was clearly the incorrect shade. When I called them, they mentioned my registration wasn't in their system, which was odd since they'd emailed me confirming a color match. They now want me to send photos of the car, the scratches, and the paint capsule they provided.I won't pursue this further. For anyone considering this service, I highly suggest ensuring you have your vehicle's exact color code when ordering. Don't depend on their matching process, regardless of their claims.

I have not received my order!!!!!! so how am I expected to leave a good review!!!!!

I requested a repair kit to deal with some scuff marks.
The website states that the colour can be matched from your registration plate details.
The kit was received on 2nd January and it was obviously the wrong colour. I telephoned the company and was then told that my registration details were not on their system. Strange that they had sent me an e-mail confirming a colour match.
I have now been asked to provide photos of the car, the scuffs and their own paint repair capsule....!
Needless to say, I will not be bothering.
If anyone is planning on using this outfit, I would strongly recommend you be aware of the exact colour code for your vehicle. You can then confirm that with your order.
Do not rely on their matching system, despite what they say.

Paid for express delivery - no sign of product
Dont offer an express service if you cant provide it and when people have paid a premium for it
Not good enough
Should have gone to Halfords
