Totally wrong colour after applied and had full reg etc of vehicle. They Said 'With metallic greys and silvers they do separate quite quickly.
Just shaking is not enough to mix the paint back together.' I followed instructions and also left it upside down a while..what a load of rubbish.. helpdesk just now ignore emails. Just order
off the manufactures for touch up, it may even be cheaper but at least the right colour. This company just fob you off and now I have a grey blob on my silver bonnet..!
£31.99 (inc postage) for a lipstick size that does not work is pants..!
Avoid. They have no idea what they're doing, they can't match colours despite their website saying they can, and then they like to keep hold of your money without sending your order.
Do not buy - wrong colour. Similar to other reviews, the paint is the wrong colour. Was told this was my fault for storing the paint standing upright. Simply ridiculous. Do not buy. No responses to emails. Terrible customer service.
Only upside was i managed to get my 2nd order refunded after using the 1st.
Paint dried yellow can see the brush lines. Very dissapointed. Best off paying a little extra and just getting it done properly!
The paint did not match the ordered colour. PaintNuts customer service said invert & shake the paint for 1 hour - no difference. Tried all kinds of shaking and no difference. I purchased an off the shelf touch up paint from a local motor factor & perfect. Paintnuts insisted their paint was good and it was just me not using it correctly. DONT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!
Paint didn’t match the car, absolute waste of money. BUYER BEWARE, the positive reviews on here must be fake. Do not buy from this company. I now have to spend more money getting professionals to sort out the mess caused by PaintNuts. They have no interest in refunding or fixing the mess they have made.
Everything looked to be good, paint turned up but it's the wrong colour, too dark. The paint tube had no label code, and when applied it was clear to see it was the wrong colour. I have been fobbed off by their poor quality customer services, who just kept asking me to send pictures of paint, car, paint applied, paint tube, ref number that was not on the tube etc.
All I am after is someone to see they sent me the wrong colour paint, which I have proved and not after anything else, being honest I could not careless regards the value, just the product being correct. I have told them I am not interested any more; my time is of more value to me than chasing and answering questions multiple times over and over again, they can keep my money, and unfortunately the paint will have to be binned ... really not sure why a company will risk their business over 20 quid, and treat customers as if they don't matter.
If you get the product asked for then I am sure you would be OK as the bottle and applicator looks good, but if wrong, then highly expect this charade to play out.
Disappointed customer.
I ordered 1/4 litre of BMW Silverstone 2 basecoat from
PaintNuts to blend in a repair on my front bumper. The match was excellent and I am very pleased with the result.
Delivered at speed the right colour and a good job done.
Finding out about UPVC paint, the lady I spoke to was very informative extremely helpful, the paint arrived very quickly well packaged. But this is really about the lady who was just delightful to speak to and extremely helpful great service, I will definitely be back.. excellent service
Parcel still not delivered to me (late) and allegedly delivered to a closed office block nearby over the weekend.
Due to their choice of carrier, goods didn’t arrive in time. When they eventually turned up after I tried to cancel, they then asked me to return which I did. They then refused to repay my postage. Not happy experience at all
Touch up pencil arrived in good time. Customer service was prompt. The issue I have the colour doesn’t match. Keep getting fobbed of with that the paint needs to be shaken. I have done everything they have said leave bottle up side down shake bottle etc. The colour is just way too dark. Have sent a picture which you can clearly see it’s too dark
Great products that match the paints perfectly. Excellent customer service
Well paint nuts as described perfect match. Ordered my paint a few weeks ago arrived spent a long time prepping and making sure it was ready to take paint perfectly applied. The paint wasn’t 100% comfortable on the first application, but thought well. It may dry better applied the second and third coat still very different to the original car, got in touch with paint marks they say that I didn’t shake the cans significantly enough, but I’ve done this so many times over the years I’m sure that wasn’t me. Anyhow was prepared to purchase another can to do the job again, asked for a discount due to the fact that I’ve got to re-apply primer, paint and lacquer, but they weren’t interested in that at all so made the decision not to purchase from them this time or in the future and I’ll go to another company. It will be a really interesting to see if the paint from another company matches my car as I should expect it to.
I ordered some touch up paint for my Suzuki. Rather than typing in the car registration number I put in the paint colour code which is ZQ5 and the colour which is PEARL ENERGETIC RED thinking that was more helpful, entered in the appropriate boxes. What arrived was a paint which was dark blue. I thought no problem, I'll contact the help department. I got an email reply saying that I hadn't entered the car registration number implying that it was my fault. So if you don't give a car registration does that mean that they send any colour? I sent another email reminding them that I'd sent the actual colour code. The reply that I got says that the paint code I provided is the colour I got. This is obviously not the case. Very disappointing.
DREADFUL paint match and antagonising customer service.
Wrong colour sent. No reply to emails.
Cannot get a refund rip off company. I have informed trading standards.
About two years ago, I ordered Mazda’s Machine Grey for my car; a professional car-painter re sprayed a complete panel for me; the result was perfect. Recently, I ordered Vauxhall’s Nautical Blue for respraying a low-level part of our son’s car that had been scraped. I obtained an excellent finish with your spray can.
