Pamono is a fantastic platform

Pamono is a fantastic platform, giving small galleries and collectors the ability to showcase their collections on a very well built e-commerce website. It’s like a much more curated eBay, and a way less pretentious 1stdibs. For all the bad or negative reviews, they should not be giving them specifically to this website, and rather the individual sellers where they ran into issues with their items. I have dealt with customer service from Pamono and they worked hard to get my item cleared through customs and kept me updated through email. I also like to give them the benefit of the doubt as I am also in hey similar customer service space, so I know not even The best of platforms have a completely seamless infrastructure for customer care. That being said, I have recommended this website to many friends and collectors alike who are looking to expand on their interior design investments.

FAKE COUCH, INEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

An order that would take 2 weeks took 3 months. No replies to emails, nearly unreachable help desk. No communication of delivery date and to top it all of, not the product in the pictures.. I bought a Togo complete couch, sold as the one in the pictures from 1970’s that had been reupholstered once. Instead I got one that was similar to the one in the pictures but all new in and out. But if a couch is new in and out and not made by Ligne Roset.. it’s not an original. Even though its sold as an original ‘’thru documentation’’?? There were even detail pictures of the scuffs on the couch in the advert, so you could really see it was old and ‘’knew’’ what you would be buying.. Whilst the one in the pictures is still for sale. Payed €6600 for a fake and no respons from customer service. Quite frustrating.

As an answer to your reply: Well I’m glad to get such a quick response! However, it’s rather untrue. I’m quite shocked. The wrong couch arrived after 2 months with no heads up, then you mentioned the right one would be sent as express delivery and that still took another month! And yes after the massive wait, I didn’t want to be difficult. And then because of the Covid situation, I found myself stuck out of the country. But now back home sliding of my couch and realizing it's not the original foam (which makes this couch so comfortable) I am indeed a little peeved. How does changing the advert now even help me? I get running a business and making money, heck I’ve personally set up and sold one of the biggest furniture companies in the country. But don’t you feel a little ashamed? I bought it from Pamono because I wanted to be sure to have an original vintage.. I doubt Ligne Roset cares with all the fake’s going around. However, I shall write to them that you are selling new Togo’s with their tags on them. And sorry, but sending me a few pictures of old Togo’s doesn’t somehow clarify the situation.. I’m really upset that I paid so much money for this couch and service, I expected better.

Do not use Pamono - false debt collection harrassment

Do not use Pamono - terrible customer service.

2 years ago I made a purchase that they were unable to deliver to me - I was refunded the amount to my bank account. This is great and good customer service.

However, today I received an aggressive debt collection letter from them saying that I owed this money back to them - indeed it didn't even state what the money was meant to be owed for, just threats for me to pay fees and interest on this "debt" with no details at all about what it was for or indeed even a reference number I could check.

I checked my junk email and there was an email (23 months after the refund) telling me that the amount has been refunded to me twice - one to my bank account and once to my Paypal.

I have now checked this and indeed this is true - so absolutely no problem to refund the payment to them at all - which I will do ASAP.

Please bear in mind here that I have bought many things and spent many thousands ££ on Pamono.

I don't think it's appropriate to send debt collection errors to long standing customers about an error made by the company themselves, by their own admission.

Pamono have my phone number, and they have emailed me before from different email addresses many times, and I have an online account with them that has a messaging system on it. So why the aggressive debt collection letter when they couldn't get in touch with me immediately after waiting for 2 years?

The fees and interest on the letter total £160 in addition to the "debt", and the guy on the phone said that was because I have earnt interest of that amount in my bank in the 2 years since the repayment was made. The debt is £450. So that would be roughly 30% interest on £450 in 2 years. The interest in my bank at the moment is 0.1% as is most people's in the current economic climate.

Ridiculous. I have repaid them the money that I owed (they only needed to ask politely) and closed my account.

I bought a beautiful lamp and paid 380,- for it, received an e-mail confirming my payment and how long it would take to send it. After 2 weeks it came in a box, it was like a present, al very carefully packed and precisely what i expected! Thank you Pamono!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering a mid-century bookcase for about £600. Basically it feels like you're being scammed from the off because once you've placed the order you don't even receive a confirmation email .... but they are happy to take your money. Then the fun begins!! NOT. Trying to get them to respond to emails is a nightmare. Like many other people on this site I got one vague email response about the supposed progress of the order (which I didn't believe) even though sending many emails queries. I never got the receipt or formal confirmation of my order and they NEVER answer the phone. In the end I got my money back off PayPal because Pamono couldnt even be bothered to respond to PayPal when I logged a dispute. Total shiseters. AVOID

Not sure what to do from here.

I ordered an $8k couch set 4 months ago and have barely heard any updates on it. I would get one email response back if I’m lucky after emailing multiple times in a month. Last thing I heard was that they would send me tracking in a week and upgrade my shipping to air freight over a month ago. No updates or response since then. I’m not totally sure what to do about this. Is this even a real company. Phone number don’t even work. I’m really frustrated.

UPDATE: Pamomo has reached out after I posted this review. STILL HAS NOT BEEN SORTED. The couch set is still not here. It’s been more than 15 weeks. The lack of responses and updates is mind blowing. It’s hard to think this is actually real.

Terrible customer service. The lack of responses when emailing client care is crazy. Emailing a company more than once to get information after days of waiting is unprofessional. Definitely would not buy from this company again.

Stay away. Not serious.

11 of March 2021 I bought a marble sculpture for approx. 500 EUR from Pamono. The sculpture was paid for the same day. The weeks went by and I started to think it was strange that the sculpture never arrived. 06 of April 2021, almost a month after the order was placed, I got a standardized e-mail informing me that the sculpture was no longer available. I was informed that my money was to be returned and I was offered a ridiculous 10% discount on a future order. When trying to call them to get an explanation, they do not pick up (or if I get through the person is on lunch or busy on the other line) or even care to answer my e-mails. This is not a serious company. Stay away.

Payment taken for unavailable item…

Ordered a high cost item on their website. 5 days after ordering they have confirmed it is not available. This in itself is not a huge issue, appreciate that these things can happen when dealing with third party vendors but they have taken payment (a four figure sum!) already and have not confirmed when it will be refunded. Terrible practice. Even in their own terms it clearly states payment will be taken once the item is confirmed available. Won’t use again on this basis.

Cannot Recommend

Prior to purchasing a single piece of furniture to be shipped to the USA for use as set dressing in a film, I tried to reach Pamano via their messaging application built into the website to inquire about details around shipping logistics. After a handful of attempts to reach Pamano with no reply, I took a risk and purchased this item. After purchase, I was able to reach a representative with Pamano by email, who never answered my shipping questions directl. Over the course of 4 weeks, all I received were non-specific and evasive answers to my very specific questions about where the piece was, when it would be shipped and by what carrier. Approximately 5 weeks after purchase, this item was shipped by FEDEX international airfreight and I was finally given a tracking number. The item arrived about 7 weeks weeks after purchase with cracked glass and missing hardware. To say that this was a distressing and disappointing experience would be an understatement.
