Flawless and highly reliable customer service

Flawless and highly reliable customer service. I had an issue with one of the shoes I recently ordered. Very quick response and a solution was found immediately. I later encountered another problem when returning the shoes due to moving to another country. Once again, a solution was found the same day and everything worked out perfectly. One of the most professional and responsive brands I know. I would recommend the brand without hesitation!

Boots arrived damaged (condition not new)

I ordered leather boots online and they arrived scuffed, packaged in a box with obvious stains. Given the price of the shoes, this is more than disappointing. The return process too is not obvious and has to be requested through a chat bot. Still have not heard back from customer service. Would not order again.

Are people buing reps?

Im perplexed about these claims on quality... Ive used my panama jack leather boots for over 3 years now winter and summer (alot of miles walked, love the shoes), and ive even done cycling with them on flat pedals. I have not had any issues with the sole quality or leather quality. The boot feels still amazing on my feet and they perform as well as new. Would give 5 stars but ive had to change the zipper once and now i have to change it again. Thats pretty much the problem with any boot with a side zipper. All in all a highly durable and comfy boot. I also own a pair of low leather shoes from them, and absolutely no complains considering them on my behalf. Sure the laces couldve been stronger, but ive had to change almost all my shoes laces atleast once. So its a very general problem i face.

Jack's support is very good!

Customer service here is incredible, I placed an order but GLS messed up the shipping of the package, and faked having delivered it. Jack's support responded very quickly to my email, within 20 minutes! They asked me to triple check if the package was missing, but also told me that no signature was present on the delivery slip. When I told them that no package was present, they assisted me in starting a claim against GLS. GLS then produced a slip for a different delivery and intended to strech the claim over several weeks... Support at Panama Jack replied by starting a refund for my case and taking on the fight with GLS themselves.

Bravo for the best customer support i will probably ever recieve! Be very proud!

Soles are an issue

I really like these boots (Bota)...style...incredibly comfortable from the off.. unfortunately the soles let them down. After a year or so the my feet get wet in them. Although the soles look solid they are made up of hollow compartments. (I guess they do that to keep the cost/weight down). So in reality you have a relatively thin layer of rubber acting as the sole. Once this wears through they are no longer watertight.

Van duurzame schoenen na kapot in 2 maanden

Heb jaren Panama Jacks laarzen gehad (type Pauline) en met elk paar deed ik zeker 2 jaar. Waarna ze eigenlijk nog niet eens kapot waren.
Nu een nieuw paar: na 2 maanden BEIDE zolen kapot. Contact opgenomen uiteraard met het bedrijf, maar die gaan nergens op in, zeggen 'de nada' en sturen je terug naar de winkel. Terwijl een winkel hier uiteraard niks aan kan doen dit ligt aan het bedrijf. Zeer teleurstellend en jammer, want ik heb jaren van mijn duurzame schoenen genoten, het niveau van klantenservice is triester dan triest.

I’ve had Panama Jack boots (the Pauline type) for years, and each pair easily lasted me at least 2 years—after which they actually still weren’t even worn out. Now, with a new pair: after 2 months BOTH soles are broken. I contacted the company, of course, but they won’t budge, say absolutely ZERO and send you back to the store. But a store obviously can’t do anything about this — the issue lies with the company and a CLEAR shift in the production process. Very disappointing and a shame, because I enjoyed my durable shoes for years; the level of customer service is downright pathetic.

Expensive but poor quality

I bought a pair of quite expensive Panama Jack boots recently. After wearing these for 20 of 30 times, the soles start to crack. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not wish to reimburse me for repair.

Absolutely underwhelming

Absolutely underwhelming. Do not order there. Would not accept returns although ship back well within the 30 days they claim. No stuck with two pairs of shoes for over €400 which do not fit.

Customer service is shocking

They refuse to accept a return. Even though they had accepted it on the site. Everything you read about their customer service is true.

The boots are far too hot, my feet were boiling alive.

I've just read up on the Spanish Right of Withdrawal (Derecho de Desistimiento) and they're in flagrant conflict with it.

Would not recommend

Would not recommend. Definitely do not buy boots from them if you live outside of Spain. I bought in Barcelona after being told by friends how good the quality of these boots were. I’ve had them just over a year and worn them less than 20 times before the stitching on the back of the boot ripped. I’ve contacted customer support, and becuase I don’t have the receipt, they are unable to help me. I’ve done the most I could showing them credit card history of the purchase. The only advice they offered is going back to store I bought them in which is unrealistic since I live in the states. Save yourself +$250 and don’t buy boots from here. Quality is just not there for the price point - especially as they position themselves as premium brand. In fact I probably wouldn’t buy them even if I lived in Spain as they barely lasted a year.

Awful exchange policy

Bought a $46 hat online it was too small ordered A large need an extra large. They want me to pay $4.95 shipping to credit my account and then I should re-order the hat so I say ___ you. They are the most unreasonable Customer service department and especially the woman that answers the phone

Bought a pair of Panama Jack boots two…

Bought a pair of Panama Jack boots two winters ago with a regular wear, yet not daily. I believed to invest in a good quality boot that would be durable and last for many years, but I was very wrong. I just found myself with soaked feet during a rainy day and just then noticed that BOTH soles were literally cracked in half. Considering the price ($200), this is completely unaccepteable and shameful on their part. And after reading the other reviews and their bad customer service of not taking any responsibily or not even caring about their own product, I am not expecting to hear back from them at all. Do not buy anything from them if you believe you are purchasing good quality and do not be fooled by the design of the shoes, it's truly s**t!

Never buy - arrogant customer service

Recently purchased "Garnock Igloo" black shoe hoping for a quality product considering how much they cost. The shoe looks beautiful. However, upon wearing it's clear that the right shoe is bigger in size. You can clearly notice that the color of sole is also different to the extent they look completely misfit.

Contacted customer support only to get into argument that there can't be manufacturing defect and if unused return for refund. No attempt is made to understand the problem which indicates that Panama Jack is least interested in improving their products.

It's a pity that the shoe is on the way back as a return

bad customer support, bad price/quality

I bought the shoes through panamajack.nl. The whole ordering process was fine and the shoes fitted great. After 1-2 months part of the leather on the back of the shoe was broken. Definitely a production error.
It was very hard to find a way to contact them about it, nobody responded their whatsapp number. So I called them to their phone (english support). I was answered in Spanish with "Si dime" (Yes, tell me). I speak Spanish and this is not the way to answer a customer. They told me to write a mail, so I did. Then later I got a response from the whatsapp that they changed numbers. So I rewrote the whole story in their new number. Few days later they answered. And asked for more fotos. They quality control would check the photos within 48-72h. I directly send them all stuff. No reply... In the weekend I decided to fix the shoes at the local shoefixer. Monday no response from customer support. Today finally answer, they only now send the message to quality control, so I'd had to wait another 48-72h. I told them just to pay me the 8,50 it cost me and the shoefixer. Then they did answer directly, that they will not support any manipulation made by a third party.

They sell expensive shoes, mine was 100 euros in discount, originally 180. For this price I expect better service.
