Using Paragon's HFS+ and one day it suddenly said my license had expired.

Put in a support ticket, no response... Tried logging into my account lots of Dead-end broken website links to reset passwords etc. Eventually Logged into an account and said I don't own the product or have and keys...

Avoid.

I was unable to activate Paragon Hard Disk Manager 17 Advanced. I immediately submitted a support ticket and it was immediately acknowledged. There was no further response from Paragon. I sent 2 further emails, this time requesting a refund but again heard nothing. Complete silence from Paragon over a 2 week period. I then sent a refund request via Cleverbridge and, thankfully, it was immediately actioned.
I originally bought the software to ensure my system was regularly backed up. The integrity of the company's product and the quality of its support are vital. I would never use Paragon again.

I purchased the extFS software, and immediately after I asked for refund because was not operating as expect. I sent them 5 emails... not reply at all...
Very bad company

I was able to use my purchased "life-time" NTFS for Mac license on my previous MacBook running the same MacOS version. But their new licensing system does not allow new activation on my new MacBook without paying for new "life-time" license. Never again!

I bought NTFS for Mac a few years ago and needed to reinstall it. I can't log in on the app, even after changing email and password on their website using a link from an old email, because the current log in (lc.paragon...) won't accept my login info either. I opened a support ticket and sent two emails, being the first contact attempt more than a week ago, to no avail. Their support system has four routes to log in, depending on how you bought your software. I mean... how can they be trusted if their support is scattered all over the place like that?
These guys need a class action lawsuit to learn how to be a decent company that respect its customers.

I purchased a lifetime license for NTFS for Mac a few years ago at a price that wasn't exactly great. I had to replace the Mac because the motherboard died, and I tried to reinstall the application purchased with a regular license (which was supposed to be for life), but it's not possible because they changed the method for issuing licenses and it's not even possible to convert the previous license to the new system. So I contacted them through their support at their support page where I was totally ignored, after 13 days I see the ticket open and no response from them.
I'm not saying that I was owed everything for free, I paid and the money I paid for was good, even just a response would have been appreciated or even an offer for a purchase maybe discounted I could have taken it into consideration. I've never seen worse technical support than this, I will definitely look for another program that has the same functions and I will pay them.

I purchased a lifetime license for NTFS for Mac a few years ago (paying extra for it). Recently I got a new device and tried to install it, but I couldn't activate it with my old license because they switched to a new licensing system. I reached out to their support (which is terrible by the way), waited several days for a response, only to be told that my license is invalid and only works for a specific version of their software and offered me to buy a new license for a discounted price.

I had problems being bombed with emails, so ended up having to cancel my supplier. But never realised this would create problems, as in 2021 I purchased an microsoft ntfs for mac from paragon, with their promise this was a lifetime subscription. This year I decided to upgrade my mac from Big-sur to Sequoia, not realising what problems this would bring. Set up my mac with the app to find I needed to go into my space to add my registration key but could not get past login as I no longer had the password, and could not reset it, after my email cancelation. So contacted Paragon thinking they could change my old mail to my up to date one. We can't do that you will have to pay again. Thats what their lifetime guarantee means. Take my warning and steer clear of cheats.

I use the product since many years but the support is non existent. I raised many times the problem that activation is not working and that hard disks in windows pe for a new installation from a backup is not working because the hard disk is not recognized which is hosting the backup. It however does see the hard disk for any other operation. After almost 6 month I am not better off. While under windows it is working but I do not recommend to buy. I will swap for a different product as this is the worst developer I have ever seen and I did development of products myself as product manager and know what is acceptable.

I bought NTFS for Mac a while back and although the software could be temperamental at times, for the most part it did what I needed. Now however I have updated my Mac and am unable to install the product (it tells me I am running OS 16 which at the time of writing doesn't exist yet!). I am on Sequoia (OS 15) and their website states the software is compatible. I have raised a ticket with them twice and have received no reply. In short, I have paid for a lifetime license which no longer works and I can not even get a reply from their customer service team

I purchased **Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software** because their website clearly stated that *when a new version is released, you can download it from your MyParagon account.* There were no disclaimers or conditions stating that I would have to pay for future versions.

However, when version 17 was released, I was suddenly told that my license only covered versions 14 and 15, and that I would need to pay again to upgrade. This restriction was **never disclosed at the time of purchase.** Their response to my complaint? Generic copy-paste emails that dodge responsibility and ignore the misleading nature of their advertising.

This is **a clear case of false advertising and deceptive business practices.** If I had known I would be forced to pay for future versions, I would have never purchased their software. I requested a full refund since they **changed their terms retroactively,** but they have been slow, unhelpful, and dismissive.

I read the Q&A about updates before purchasing, and it directly influenced my decision. (To be clear, I have only used this software **2-3 times since I purchased it.** I knew this before buying, but I still went ahead because a **lifetime upgrade** meant I wouldn’t have to worry about future compatibility.) Yet now, when I want to use it on the latest macOS version, I’m being told to **pay again.**

After further research, I found that **there are free, open-source alternatives** that work just as well as Paragon NTFS. **Do NOT buy from Paragon Software.** Their dishonest policies and poor customer service make it clear that they only care about profit, not their customers. **Avoid at all costs!**

If I could select zero stars I would have. I downloaded Paragon software onto my Surface Book 2, to allow me to read a Mac formatted hard drive. After installation of the software, it prompted me to restart to complete installation. I restarted the laptop and it failed to reboot. It never booted up again from this point. Something within the boot registry had been corrupted and no matter what I tried it would not start. I was forced to use another laptop to make a bootable USB stick, then use this to reinstall windows on the laptop, losing all my information.

I have their NTFS and EXT for Mac products, and have been using them to read external drives on my iMac for several years now.

The latter just completely repaired a damaged external 5TB ext4 USB drive on my Mac, when it would not mount on my QNAP server at all.

Bought a lifetime license for NTFS For Mac version 15.
They moved to a new license server and won't respond to support requests to move my license to the new centre so software won't work with latest macOS. They used to be a good company, no idea what's gone wrong but avoid!

I tried Paragon Partition Manager Community Edition on my Windows 10 machine. I had a USB device that Windows refused to recognise after I had used it with a Disk Clone software that apparently messed up the partionon table. The registration process was a bit cumbersome, but the software worked great. Very capable and easy to use.

After 3 years, the software is crippled. Not compatible with standard Mac update.
If I want a working copy I have to purchase it again.
They seem to deliberately building obsolescence to get you to upgrade. Only a fool would buy a second product from them knowing that they will cripple it after a couple of years.

I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a new Mac. I had 3 licenses all of which I deactivated. I couldn't activate on my new computer. This is not the first time I have had licensing problems. I submitted 2 tickets to customer support and I have no response for over a week. I will be switching to other software.

I have been trying to get support for my NTFS for Mac and submitted five support tickets within the last four days and have not received a reply. I'm now left with a piece of software that I cannot activate because I am constantly told that my sign in details are wrong when I know for a fact they are correct because I can sign into my Paragon account via the website but when it comes to activation of the App its a different story.Shocking customer service and now left with a piece of software I cannot use.

The whole signup-download-install-activate process is a nightmare. They created an overcomplicated, control-freak, user-unfriendly monster. I don't know anything about the software, which they advertised as free, since I could try out an unfunctional demo only. I have just lost 30 minutes of my life. Complete waste of time.

I purchased a lifetime license for the NTFS for Mac software from Paragon Software, only to have it mysteriously disappear from my account. When I reached out to their support team, instead of resolving the issue, they offered me a 30% discount to repurchase the software, as if my lifetime license no longer mattered. This is a clear violation of consumer rights. It’s frustrating and disappointing to be treated this way after making a legitimate purchase. Avoid doing business with them unless you want to risk losing access to something you already paid for!
